In the early days it was an extremely rare spawn. It is possible, albeit very unlikely, that there are some legitimate ones floating around

I was making my way to Stary one time from Veresnik hill and a crossbow weilding noob showed up right in front of my friend, I zero'd my M107 wrong and missed the easiest shot in the world so my teammate took an arrow to the head. It was quite funny though, the guy had only been playing for 5 hours haha

That's because the DMR isn't really designed to go over 400m. Sniping rarely exceeds 500m in DayZ anyway, most players can't really snipe properly anyway. And as if we would yell, us fine gentlemen would never so such a thing!

I completely agree and I think it should be made either a lot rarer or be taken out completely. The DMR is far to common for how powerful of a weapon, I like to refer to it as the noobtube of DayZ because that is what it is. It has 7 or 8 possible spawn locations, can be used with night vision, 20 round magazine, 2 hit kill, ammo is EVERYWHERE and since most people don't know how to snipe properly they just spam rounds down range because they know they can afford to with the DMR. I hate the gun personally and would take an M24 over it any day but it is far to user friendly, the same goes for the AS50 and M107, albeit to a lesser extent

This thread is full of derp. Once a helicopter has been fully repaired it will not leak, even if it gets damaged again. The only time it leaks is before it is completely repaired. And don't be a dickhead and say that about the devs, I have personally spoken to two of them and they're great people who put a lot of time and effort in to this mod without being paid

It's not hard to do though, it's a bitch tactic and pretty much means you get high tier loot super early in to the game completely defeating the purpose of the game. It takes away all of the desperation that made DayZ so great. Working your way up through all of the gear was an awesome feeling but loot farming completely defeats that, you spawn and go down to AII and you'll come out heavily armed with no troubles. It's a COD kiddie tactic

M240 will kill players fastest

Please don't use this agrument, it is stupid. In ArmA you are handed all of your gear, you can use your favourite weapon every time but on DayZ it is completely different, you never know when you'll be fired on, death actually matters and it really sucks. This whole "If you want to kill people then just play ArmA" argument is stupid

As a hardcore bandit, I thank you. There is nothing more I love than being the underdog and being fired upon first, I really enjoy the intense firefights that DayZ has to offer. Whilst I will not shoot you if you are unarmed nor will I lure you and say I am friendly and shoot you in the back, I really enjoy a good fire fight.

People say that about every new map. Please explain how it is a PVP map. It's the same size as Chernarus, there's lots of really small towns to loot, there's a reasonable amount of military spawns around buy not a ridiculous amount.

The loot farming going on these days is fucking ridiculous. Fucking COD kiddies ruining the game
