Yep, same thing happened to me with a fully decked out character. Sucks but what can ya do...

Respawned on the south coast and decided to meet up with friends who were freshly spawned and died again, as did they. Didn't hear any gun shots, just died.

Wow, that's pathetic... Thanks for that. I wish there were some way we could roll back characters that were killed by things like this because that's my favourite part of the game, getting attached to your character and getting scared shitless of dying.

Woooooooooosh That's the sound of the point going over everyones heads. My point is that if you can just run back to your tent and re-equip, what's to stop the deathmatch style of play? DEATH DOESN'T MATTER, IT ONLY MEANS YOU HAVE TO WALK 30 MINUTES TO GET RE-EQUIPPED. That is my point, it's not about people having better gear than me, I'm well equipped with high end gear. This makes me be cautious and not attack situations as I would in many other modern FPS games. If I die, I've got to start all over again, get all of this equipment back and go from there but if I had all of this other gear there if I died then where's the thrill? I don't have to worry about dying, I may as well play Quake,BF3 or COD.

Cool, so next to no one has opinions on this but people will make threads with stupidest suggestions, not being able to make their mind up as to wether or not it's worth the crawl to the hopsital and about killing someone. Good one guys, fucking great.

I personally don't hoard them but I do know of groups of people who have their stuff 40kms off map so no one can get to it. Cheapest tactic ever, worse than disconnecting.

Definately this' date=' quite hard to achieve though. Yes that's definately true, I see where you're coming from but I also thing that this will be the demise of this game. Like people have said, it will turn into a giant game of deathmatch rather than survival.

Maybe I should go in at night... So many shoot-on-sight assholes around. Ummm, what do you expect, it's the NW airfield? It's far to risky to let people run around there, not to mention the fact you might find something people want.

Scenario I thought of. These recon teams are sent into the area to take out the uninfected in case they're holding the infected disease but it is dormant until X time and they don't want it spread into possible safe zones. Obviously these safe zones wouldn't exist in game but I like the scenario.

It is rather silly when you hear twigs snapping and gates opening when you're alone in the forest. Get rid of it all unless it is actually a person or animal

This is stupid, 90% of canned food doesn't need to be cooked and do you think we've got fucking containers of wood or something? Medical supplies,DMR,m4a3, good and drink = full coyote pack. No thanks.

Last night I tried to help a noob who then turned around when I wasn't paying attention and shot me in the face so I started a new character today. I spawned in Elektro so I ran straight to Msta, I found an Coyote backpack, M4A3 food and drinks _b I then continued up to Polana and on the way I found a tent packed with stuff, including another M4A3,medical supplies and everything I needed minus a map. Literally 30 seconds later I find a crashed heli with an Mk48,DMR and 2 Bizon SDs. I meet up with my friend, he gets killed and I get shot to 2500 blood :( Knew it was all to good to be true
