Snipers would become even more of an issue, think of this scenario. People manage to get claymores, they place them all over Cherno and Elektro forcing people to have to be extra careful in townships thus making them easier targets. No, just no, it's a stupid idea.

Why the fuck don't they just get rid of these? I swear none of the dev team actually play DayZ. Tank traps, barbed wire and sandbags serve no purpose at all. And yeah, I'm still getting these graphical glitches. -

Not really a proper answer. Why so people want to ruin other people's fun and hard work? What sort of person gets enjoyment out of ruining someone else's fun? Are these people mentally I'll, do they not have an exciting enough life outside of gaming? Are these the same people that pick on nerds at school?

Lately I've been trawling the NWAF and Stary. Unfortunately I've only seen 2-3 people there in the 15 or so times I've been in those areas over the last 2 weeks. I don't know wether it's because of the artifacting some people are having or what but I'd sure love to see more people around those areas, I'm needing some PVP! We have been trying to get helicopters up and running lately but people keep crashing them and hackers keep owning us zzz -

So you said you want less focus on military weapons but also want fun customization. That kind of turns those guns in to becoming like those military weapons imo. Leave the military stuff alone, if you're willing to go to a military base and risk your life for that gear then more power to you I say -

I've played Lingor Island, it's terrible for DayZ. To many houses with no loot, waaaay to open, people spawn at military spawns etc. Chernarus is perfect for DayZ, Lingor Island is the complete opposite. -

There's very little cover, like no forest areas. It'd just become a giant sniper fest, imo. There were also many small town that had absolutely no loot at all And by many, I mean one every 500m -
