Use common sense. If you're unsure about a weapon, google it. You're obviously not going to need to google every weapon, especially if you find it in a loot pile

It is not legit, do not use it. People who use spawned in weapons knowing they're spawned in are just as bad as people spawning them in

In a sense, you are right. But the issue is that this bug has been around for almost 1 month now and it's a huge game breaking thing. I don't understand why they can't remove them from an updated version and fix them on a slightly older version, like what we are playing now

I'm pretty sure it's official, Rocket and the rest of the team don't care for DayZ - The mod, anymore. If they really did, they'd just remove the useless things that are causing this bug, it's a fucking MASSIVE game breaking glitch that would take 30 minutes to fix but they just don't care at all. I literally can't go to Stary,Berezino,Cherno,Balota or the NWAF AT ALL And yes, I have tried everything.

And good on them admins, there's enough google information out there to know that this weapon is hacked in, and not to mention the 2-3 threads a day that are made asking if this weapon is legit or not.

There is only 1 excuse for aborting when being shot at, like when you're absolutely certain it is a hacker. Aborting in a firefight is not 'surviving', it is travelling to an alternate universe where you're safe and you should be from the start, why even bother playing DayZ if you want to feel safe? If you want to survive, scavenge and then like then go fucking play deer hunter and shoot animals that can't attack you. People that abort to avoid death are almost on par with hackers, same goes for people who are willing to use hacked gear. Fucking bitches, anyone that disconnects.

To all the people saying that you may as well use it if you can't be banned for it, have some fucking morals. Sure, I can't be banned for having as AS50TWS but I have some morals so I sure as hell will never use it, fucking dickheads. If you're willing to use the stuff then you're just as bad as people spawning it in

It's a bitch tactic to post a camp location and people need to stop claiming hacker for everything... I had a huge camp, everything you could ever imagine, we even got called hackers and dupers because of it but we didn't. We either stole it or looted it. Definately agree that any threadsade revealing camps should be closed and deleted

When I'm getting shot at and I have a rough idea where it's coming from, I will quite often fore a few shots in the general area because it's usually enough to scare them into hiding

Oshi, I'm a huge fan of your videos, same goes for your whole squad and I completely agree. My team and I try to achieve pretty much the same thing as you guys, we try the whole squad firefight thing but it never works out. We either have massive graphical glitches (That are fucking ridiculously easy to fix, take the damn props away!!!!!!), alt+f4ers and hackers. DayZ is an amazing game, never have I been so scared and excited in a game before. But I also feel as though the standalone version is now going to become a bit of a money grabbing tactic, I mean, DayZ has been pretty much abondoned now, no patches or big bug fixes in ages! I hope they sort this out, they owe it to us, we've made ArmA polular again.

I'm well aware this is alpha and a free mod but for the love of god, please fix this issue! I don't understand why it is even still around, it is being caused by props, props that have absolutely no affect on how the game plays at all. Because of this bug, I cannot visit the 4 of the most important places on the map. The NWAF,Stary Sobor,Chernogorsk and Berezino. I'm well aware that it can be a bit of a mess around to release patches and such but this is getting ridiculous. Why can't they just be removed? Surely you can remove them but at the same time, try and solve the issue on test servers? It is getting to the point where it's almost pointless in me playing, especially considering I am the designated sniper and can't zoom into the dangerous zones we frequent. Please fix this guys, I've been playing since 1.4 and am still enjoying this game immensely but this is really destroying the experience.

I've tried that, I've tried everything. My friend came up with a server side script but he reckons it'll clash with battleye

M4 for players under 150m, MP5 for zombies, DMR for long range shots. If you're playing solo and don't intend on killing anyone then I'd say go with the M4

It's only ever worked once for me, it's worked every time for a friend though :(

I'll think of better suggestions when a super easy bug fix is actually fixed

I'm on ATI unfortunately, I've tried pretty much everything but still haven't had a fix >:(

It's definately not server dependant for me, I went to the NWAF the other day and had no trouble at all and then travelled to Stary afterwards and couldn't see a damn thing towards the tents. Today I couldn't see anything at both places, the other day I had no issues at all. So damn annoying!

Best thing about .50cals, they take fuck all skill to use.

You retards do realize tat you only need to rub around the top of the map to get fully geared in an hour or so? To many people jump to the conclusion of hackers

99% of the time I hear a helicopter is when it is coming to pick me up

PVP is what makes this game. I'm not talking about roaming along the South Coast either. I love the high intensity, risk vs reward PVP up north. If that wasn't there, I probably wouldn't play
