Hi Guys, Now we all know tents were in the last game and it is likely they will be in here. We remember Tents were not lockable and were easily set fire to(cannot remember if that was a mod for DayZ or not) Either way we're likely to see some kind of persistent storage. So Tents are likely to make a return, what I want to discuss is other options tending that the sky is really the limit now so to speak. I would like to see you being able to use fridges, lockers, wardrobes, foot lockers and other world storage containers as actual storage containers. I would not like them to be able to be locked as that would be silly, they are simply a hiding place. You find it, it is your pot of gold. please understand I realise the game is still under construction so I would not expect such features for least 9 months to a year kinda thing however I would like to hear other ideas of what this game could potentially have look forward hearing from you guys :)

I am the Governor, I alternate between KOS and Nice guy.

1. Trust no one unless they are in a team speak, Steam friend or real life friend. 2. If someone yells Friendly while either shooting at you or trying to kill you with a melee weapon, he isn't Friendly. 3. If you get the Jump on someone, they yell friendly, their life is in your hands, kill them or spare them based on who you are, but don't beg for Mercy if you are not willing to show any. 4. Ghosters and server hoppers are a real threat, don't ignore the problem, work in a solution, when raiding a high loot military site be aware someone can teleport in behind you, accept that one day you might die and loose everything, so bring friends whom can watch your back, like that guy whom yelled friendly whom you didn't shoot. By this stage he would have saved your life a few times so trust is still alive and well. When opening a barracks, clear it one room at a time quickly, then fluff around looting, or be quick about it. You get caught off guard that's on you. 5. Don't drink cleaning products. 6. when you wish to out run a zombie or a player put your weapons away so there is nothing in your hand and you will actually run 2x faster. 7.when drinking or eating think about how many ways someone could kill you where you are currently standing or sitting, sniping, axe, etc.... Let paranoia take over and let it tell you to hide out of site and where no one would ever find you. This is the good kind of character saving paranoia. 8.If you are dying lots and find the game too hard. Keep trying because if you give up you will not get better 9.If you are now crying yourself to sleep, DayZ is not for you go back to WarZ where there are safe zones and a map the size of "insert something small and insignificant" 10.If you hear a gun shot ring out fight or flee. 11.learn the map, go forth and explore because this will make you wiser and more of a hardened player, separates the Men from the children. 12. Yes when every player is wearing a gas mask and the green ballistics helmet you do all look the same, and if you are having friendly fire incidents within your own squad, time to get creative (yes I am making you have to think at this point) 13. This game is and has been made and currently being developed to be hard, real hard. Do not ask for it to be dumbed down to your level. Please step up to ours.

14. Remember to set your M4 Carbines rifle elevation down to 50 meters so that when you are fighting in close quarters you are not shooting the roof behind your target. 15. If you are being shot at or chased be patient, wait, sit somewhere that you know the opponent doesn't know where you are, wait, listen. Use your senses to find him and catch him searching for you.

I have designated a safe house for me and my 20 odd friends to meet up before heading out raiding and meeting after death. A Friend Asked me what makes it a safe house, I replied "It is full of our Friends Armed to the teeth" That is the only form of safe zone I ever want to see in this game.

Rocket is now back in New Zealand for his Xmas Break, if you don't like what you got try get a refund, Don't ever Mention War Z as that was a pile of shit. It was so bad they lost their trademark and had to rename their franchise. Let me make it clear when I say this, people don't care about your opinion now go roll over and die. We like this game and are supporting it. The communication stopped in the last week DUE TO XMAS if you don't like it piss off.

Has anyone actually found the .357 pistol? and if so where?

I think it is server desync, me and my buddy logged off outside of Zelenogorsk, to come back in the morning to be in one of the buildings inside the town....

There is no midrange weapons atm, you have Mosin, M4 and pistol, however pistol you cannot load and shoot..... then that's it. They need more loot in all the houses TBH I feel like there is nothing anywhere and the loot mechanics are broken then I find one motorbike helmet...

I must have the Bible, I then need them to patch it so I can put a book in my hands. I will then wonder Cherno spreading the word of the good book, Praise be it the lord!

DayZ SA is amazing to me at the moment and being told it is just going to get better, I wet the bed.

Can someone elaborate on what he is talking about to do with a Magnum? is it a .357 pistol or something?

Can you swim? I wanna check out Ute's Island however I was told my character will die? I don't care about realism etc... it is fine if that is the case, I just want to know before I sacrifice my character in the name of Ute's

Ok, lets all hunt for Utes Island, it must be out there surely. I saw a youtube video of the leaked SA version from Jan and it was in the game then so I can only but hope it is there. maybe it is not where we were once told. We need Rocket to confirm I hope Rocket reads this thread and gives us a heads up. I love exploring !!

This is amazing, I have trekked from kamino, up through zelenogorsk, to Vybor, to North west airfield, to the top of the map then far east to Berezeno, I might head to Utes island next. And I have been seeing in black and white for at least a day now LOLOLOL

They are going to be redoing cars from scratch. New Models, new everything about them as I believe they want a complex repair system which will be fun :)
