I see what DayZ can give me some days, I have caught people in the open and Yelled them down "Freeze mother F, I am Friendly, are you" most of the time I will give unarmed people my primary weapon and a ton of ammo and we team up for a while until with both log and have a lot of fun. My baby is the .357, then when they add it, it will be my Winchester "Winnie" In the Mod I only used Winnie, I refused all other weapons and this is no exaggeration, sniper rifles and assault weapons are not my thing. Then end of Mid Season Break of the Walking dead what was Rick Carrying.... Winchester and a .357, the cool factor is amazing and Winnie in the Mod was a beast. I am yet to be killed from my kindness and people appreciate it. If you get the opportunity and see the other player first, Draw your gun on them, Yell Friendly, if they do not respond sure. shoot em, but tell them to lower their weapon and not to point it at you. Take control of the situation and have confidence and they will know they wont be harmed. Outside of my first week I have been treated well. I treat people how I want to be treated and DayZ has only been rewarding. I can only say the times I don't actively communicate is the times it all goes to plad. Communication is the first step in forming a working relationship with another player. See how you go but I can guarantee if you meet me, I will reward you with kindness :) If I die, rinse repeat have more fun.

I am only running around with the Colt Python, I have been throwing away all other weapons. I am enjoying it. I have died, and my version of gear is easy to obtain again up the western side of the map and in all fire stations. Relax, make your own fun, go for a wonder/explore. I have been to every single city now and loved the view and cannot wait for the northern buildings to be added as that is pretty cool up there. Don't attach to your character emotionally and enjoy the adventure.

I Rain was and is amazing, going through the new cities north of Cherno while it was raining was something else. I took a ton of screen shots and cuddle them when I go to sleep in hope of seeing rain again.

I cannot believe that someone cannot hack the pace of this game, creates a thread crying about KOS, thinking that anything will change. I love KOS as it makes the game hard. If I wanted a game that was easy, well shit I wouldn't because that would be so dull. Stop trying to dumb the game down to the lowest common denominator. If you want Lame I hear WarZ is still going...

The Tactical vest is pretty rare however the model needs to be adjusted as when worn on the player it is sitting way to high in the shoulders and looks odd.

After adjusting my Field of view my Acog is 8x view, however it is too bad the M4's 5.56mmx45 is inaccurate as hell after 300m which is sadly accurate for the weapon. so I can see for miles however I am unable to hit anything even when holding breath and not having moved in a while. It is only good inside of 300 meters for accuracy but hell that's life.

I want in the server lists for it to say the current weather in edition to hardcore etc... however not too sure how hard it is for them to be able to do it. I would only ever play while it is raining

LOL next time you bring up your scope or iron sights press Escape, go into configuration, drag the FOV all the way to the left and presto, maximum magnification.

There is nothing wrong with KOS, it happens for a reason. I have had less KOS instances in this than the Mod. My reason is They either yell friendly or I do. If no response that gives me an indication of a gun fight or not. It is all down to preparation, knowledge of your surroundings and game (situational awareness) and wisdom, if you do not learn quickly this game is difficult. The game is not the same without the high risk and if it got forcible dumbed down to the lowest common denominator I would stop playing as would a good portion of the community. Low pop servers there are more friendly, high pop servers there are more KOS instances. Not all are out to just KOS, some do it in self preservation, it is him or me mentality. As yourself why you KOS then you will find the answer, the bigger set of brass balls you have you will find you will have less KOS (less not none) because you stop caring and this means you are more confident and respond with Friendly, If you have your gun trained on someone who doesn't have theirs out or up you are the one with their life in your hands. Panic and you will kill them, confidence will let you relax a little bit more and not be so trigger happy reactive. However, I would love to see tazers as they would be cool to use.

So I have been searching around the forum and must be blind as I cannot find anything regarding Bullet penetration. What I have found through personal experience that the Mosin 7.62mmx39 will gladly pass through a bus Stop (I made the shot so I know it wasn't a hack) I saw him dart behind the bus stop as I was shooting at him So when I knew he stopped I got 1 clean shot and it passed straight through. There was another instance of shooting through a car door or roofing iron or something *can't quite remember but this happened yesterday so still aware of it happening. I shot through the car/roofing iron with the .357 So what else does this extend to? I am positive Doors also do, Glass and other light materials. As a lot of these kinetics and Ballistics were pulled directly from the Arma2 + Arrowhead engine (DayZ being now the more refined version) These new Modelled weapons, will have their own set of Ballistics now (however it is likely they gave it the same as the M4, AR15, M16 /any other 5.56mmx45 firing weapon) Anyway, what other objects do you think I should be able to shoot through? *edited
