Hey, my friend tried to install dayZ single player(with cheat engine... he just don't know shi1 about computer lol) and got banned. Now he wants to buy a new copy of the game. My question is: Do he needs to make another steam account? Will he be able to play with a new copy of the game? I wasn't able to find my question in any other post... I don't know what to search lol pardon me if I made some mistakes english is not my main languages.

SiiriXX you have a very bad attitude. And my 'friend'(obviously you think it's me) is 95% unfamiliar with PC and doesn't even speak english so how could he know what CHEAT ENGINE means lol. That's pretty obvious to us but for him it was just a way to install DayZ single player.

DayZ standalone will be a full game, Better than DayZ mod... That's basically all we know. If you want to see more progress there's alot of post made by rocket that show the progress of the game. Everything else are just rumors that people spreaded(is that even a word!?!?!?) to get more views. Edit: Go in the section DayZ Announcements and look for rocket's posts.

Also if he install arma 2 only on his new account does it install on his old account as well?

He have the right to ban you but obviously he's an a55. Can you give me the name of the server(in private message if possible so we don't bother people that like the server) so I know which server not to go. I always wanted to see a way to have assassination mission in DayZ. Because right now when you have all your gear all you're doing is... nothing or camp at a certain spot. Having an item like Gov. Radio, basically it would be a rare item that people could find in chopper crash or completly at random in houses. What it would do is give you assassination task completly at random maybe it would scan every player in the server and decide to who it gives the mission based on how many days survived or how many kills the person have(has?). The person who have the mission then have a certain time to complete the mission and if he do not complete the mission, it just simply give the SAME task to another player that owns the item. for example: Current task: Kill: Maniac Last known location: cherno, heading north(where he's facing when you received the call) Completion of this task grant you: 1 mountain dew + 2 stanag round(decided at random or not) and for 1 can of bean or whatever you want you could buy additional info: Primary weapon: m4a1, he is wounded, etc. The possibilities are endless and right after your mission it would says something like: Your rewards are at ____ in a closet. So it could be stealed by other players. So basically if this was implemented to the game it would be an end-game items. Pardon me if I made some mistakes english is not my main language.

It's a survival/simulator. Having a map at start would ruin the experience and it isn't hard to locate yourself. Sure there's a learning curve but overall it fits well with the game. Totally disagree with this idea, the map is fine as it is right now and I hope it will stay like that in the SA. Pardon me if I made some mistakes, english is not my main language. Edit: I'm probably rude right now probably because you only have 2 posts and that means you are new to the game. I assume that you didn't even try to learn and want everything easy like in those COD games. So I apologize for my attitude towards you and I hope you understand why I don't like your idea. I consider DayZ to be for the hardcore player and I don't want it to change.

I was in cherno with two friends. When suddenly we see BIG beams of light (the flashlight glitch) so we go there... The light is coming from the market. We camp outside covering all the entrance/exit. When suddenly a guys with a m4 holo fire in Full auto in our direction. We freak out, start shooting(we still don't know where it's coming from because it's night). One of my friend dies, everyone stop shooting. Me and my friend scan around the market WHEN I fall face to face with the guy I start shooting BAM BAM BAM BAM! He dies. Ohhh it was intense. He had a m4 holo, gps, nightvision, dmr, the backpack better than alice pack. Yep nice loot, But one of my friend still died luckily he only had a double barrel shotgun.
