Well, I'm new to the standalone, I played the original Dayz mod, but quit because I got spawnkilled endlessly by bandits. I'm back for the standalone and hoping to find a server or something to play with some friendly people to learn the game. About me, I like motorcycling and weed.. Not sure what else to say about myself.

I spawned at some port with cranes and a railroad with a small city nearby on a hill. I have no map yet and I'm just entirely lost, please help. I'm trying to find military weapons and gear.

I know where I am more or less now, but my character is wet and can't move, also, I can't seem do get away from zombies, not even by hiding in trees and bushes.

I just started the game back up, I did die, but I spawned on the coast in front of a sign that says Solnichniy 1 and has something else written under it that I can't read with an arrow pointing away from the coast.

Can't spawn in now, when I spawned in, a zombie was killing me, so I logged out, since my game is super laggy for a few moments when I start the game. Likely going to die, it said I had a broken arm and I'm bleeding.. :(

I'm getting picked apart by zombies trying to figure out where I am, about to give up, I'm beyond lost now.

There is a natural bridge type rock near the railroad

She has no idea where she is going, she may or may not even be at that town, I don't know. I'm lost beyond measure.

I searched the nearby town and found nothing of use, just a canteen and some food. I have no idea any of these towns or which way is east.. :(

Game lagged me into the water, now I can't get out of the water and my character is swimming super slow.. Help, anyone?

Just had a zombie glitch into a house I was hiding in through the wall, and my axe disappeared and I was no longer able to turn and look toward the attacking zombie to aim my punches.. Weird.. I have no idea where I am in the game, nor where to get water and how to find better weapons or gear. Ugh, so lost and confused in this game.
