i always read lock and often ask myself why? :) dont know why i am just interpreting it always! i am not even dsylexic ;) OT: yes its safe. but prefer the commander like others mentioned.it gave me the least(non) troubles installed everything perfectly fine and makes steam work with beta.

yeah. but i never read that ADS is bound/limited use to 1st person mode. you have to change your view model in the options but it never stated that you are only able to ADS when 1st person. i think its just for the case if you see someone around a corner, you cant just simply side step and shoot instantly with the preaimed crosshair. you have to ads before leaving the corner but have to somewhat re.aim. step out blindly. or expose yourself in the open for atleast some time when looking at the player and then go ads. thats just my intepretation. switch to ads only from 1st p view would imo go too far 3rd person should have a little bigger delay with a zoom in though. saying that i am one the 1st lovers (only prob is the fixed fov (inb4 num- ).

just filter whitelist in your server browser or dayz commander. most servers which use it have it in their server name. look for the good ones in your region. then go for them.

damn. sorry but you have to spoon feed yourself with the whole internet at your feets. i am normally very engaging and helpfull with advice and such but this thread cracked my head open and all the juice is dripping on the floor.

i am not a server hoster and i dont know the problem you got (since iam an average user) but since the latest battle eye update the .dll makes problems with my antivir. false positiv and i have to disable it to even join a server. maybe it helps to find your cause of trouble. anyway hope you get it sorted out.

i am so reliefed for them. so happy they can go home to their families.(thats i think not sure yet but they faced up to 20 years and got a bail with just 5k??? for me its a clear indication that this whole crappy situation will be under the carpet soon.

OP. i can understand you but not in this game or mod. i mean arma 2 is great in itself and you could have done all of that in armex chernarus with your buddies. but in GTA IV. nothing more fun than in a 32 slot free roam modus locked server with your buddies and the trainer. no harm was done. i never did anything like that in dayz and arma tho but think i can see where you are coming from expect you have all those abilitys in arma 2 itself to do it in a legal ''correct'' way.

i am playing with 1.7.2.5 / 96061beta. they save but loose all the Gear/Items. after server restart mine was empty.

search for a good private hive then? good times i tell you. still i am on a 23 days char in the official hive and was all over the map. its always fucking tense.

run up a rock. bridge, brake your leg, respawn. i also ''achieved'' to be beaten to death by two zeds in 1 min. :)
