you can also zoom (with numpad+/-)the fuck out of it. very easy to locate yourself with treelines streets and hills. you will know the map better and better and it all becomes much easier.

[/quote']well. i wouldnt want it to be added for the sake of realism(Rocket doesnt want that anyway, adding features for the sake of realism) but i had the same situation like you and run for like 15minutes red blinking and came across like one dam and 4 lakes :D ( i still did it, finding a farm and some pepsi ). and now its not to bad with drinks and bottles. it would maybe benefit the most for the newly spawned. anyway i would like that feature.

i suggest that we should be able to drink from lakes and waterpumps directly.:heart:

try shooting the last few Z's with your pistol/less sound(shooting in buildings also) less distance aggro. or flee into the woods or were they not spawn. kill the rest there. i managed pretty good so far with this methods.. the respawn timer is still too short, agree with that.

regular servers i think. some are not named correctly or at all. so i mostly, if possible, play on veteran or expert servers.

its a circle jerk. i used my mic and got shot for that. respawned got inland. to a barn shot some Z with my freshly enfield. came out. a guy stands there i quickshot my enfield with panic. when i clicked the button i heard him speak over direct chat. but it was to late. i yelled back i am so sorry but just minutes ago i died and was still paranoid. i hate that feeling what i have now. been killed doing the right thing. and instantly killed another nice guy who wanted to do the right thing. if you read this. barn in mysta you had an m4a1 with 7stanag mags and an m9 fully loaded. i am so sorry but thanks for the nice gear. dont know how you did that. no other gear jsut weapons on mass.

today i expirienced some extreme server lag/overload. my borther and i had on any kind of server the problem of moonwalking/ut of sync with lootable backpacks etc and after 2-3 minutes its getting resynced and a big red list appears for all player that they are loosing connection. then it works again for 10 sec. never had this so often.

Regarding not being able to run. I have come across this bug a few times myself now. Neither double tapping shift or holding it down will make my character run. I can go into the control options and am able to change the run key (shift is still able to be removed and added as the run key), but this makes no difference. I'm running version 1.7.1.5:93825. I finally got my dream weapon setup of a crossbow (plenty of bolts) and an m1911 with clips galore. Aggro some zombies accidentally only to find that I'm no longer able to run. Cue sadface del pablocampy. I've also run into the unable to lean bug too. For example, right now I've just spawned again (due to the aforementioned running bug) and I am unable to lean. I am able to run at this point so I don't know if these are related. Rocket, I believe you mentioned that you had you were unable to have zombies only investigating noise to walk instead of run due to performance issues? Is this the case, how are zombies able to walk towards other noise sources such as flares without this performance hit? Very much enjoying this latest build. My personal feeling is that the zombie hearing/vision balance is excellent. The 50% reduction through wall/environment can only make this more realistic and enjoyable. Will the 50% reductions stack? So multiple house walls between a character and a zombie will all but muffle the noise they are making? Edit: Also, as I mentioned I've just spawned. I alt tabbed back in to find my dude passed out with a very slow timer. [sTEALTH UPDATE] - Epilepsy? i had that no run bug too just when i respawned. to fix it rightclick on your flashlight to move it in your pistol slot.

if its close to stairs its pausible to vault it. but on even ground its too high.

really nice so far. i couldnt extinguish many chemlights from otherplayers. flares of my own and chems worked well. somebody else expirienced this? maybe just i bugged out. they were in the firedepartment tower on stairs.

that would be awesome. i have to say i am on day21 and pretty attached to my gear and char. i still tested all the hotfixes and had some extreme moments. i just cant die without doing suicide or doing some extreme stupid stuff. this would force me without doing it myself and i would like it.

would have helped me lot of times. often thought why cant i trow them. would also help the new survivors with no gear but the Z sensitivity gets fixed anyway. but would be nice.

make a complete new fireplace. sometimes they bug out. the option to cook meat should appear when you hover over it and have the MEAT in the main inventory(not in the backpack).

yup crouch run 4-5 ear bars. i am strafing now and looking with alt key:) 2bars little slower. the Z are still managable if you take time. i still fuck up more then earlier and have to run/dogde crawl away from buidlings or trees. yes i even managed more times to drop of a Z in the line of a tree site. still a little too sensitive. nothing to bad. i cant pick up the hatchet. i even trow all of my stuff out or does it use one of the weapon slots? the night time is very nice with common config. looks almost like when i tweaked it. maybe its intended but i am not sure. hdr and gamma/brigthness was so to say locked. now i can adjust it again. its a big difference again hdr normal i didnt get huge fps drops when 20 Z chasing me. now i do.

depends on the server. had some with 10 some with 40 fps, same place. its so awesome you can actually loose the Z running around corners and then crouch. etc. i even managed to lose them in the woods. but that was i think just luck. will more have to learn to adapt and slow down etc. play with some alone Z to test out ranges etc. and iam still alive on my day 21. its fucking tense now. and i love it.

yeah. i love the animals. they arefunny as fuck and tasty. i just hope i can pick up the cutted meat again. what?! meeleeeeee. wonder how that will turn out :D definately trying it as soon as it's up.

why not just farm the yummi pumpkins or fishing ;)
