I know this is a month late, but I just want to counter everyone who is saying you have to buy a new machine(which is totally unhelpful). I got Day Z to work pretty well on machine a little worse than yours: an xp machines with a Pentium 4 dual core and a 256mb geoforce 8600. I found this particularly helpful (though you probably also have seen this): http://dayzmod.com/f...h-out-the-game/ I set most of the setting in-game lower than the guy who made that post did. Also, setting the priority of DayZ in windows task manager to "real time" or "high" also made a big difference. Anyway, the graphics aren't maxed out certainly, but it runs reasonably well at my monitors native resolution (1280x1084).
