  1. So, me and a friend were searching for a server and we came across the perfect one with ten players. As soon as we joined, we grouped up with eachother (we were both in NW where we logged in) and not long after, my friend was teleported to by a person in a ghillie with a hacked in weapon. Apparently, the hacker only shot him enough times to make him pass out, and he alt+f4'd while passed out. I did the same after hearing what had happened. When we joined a new server, he apparently spawned at Kamyshovo with a two-hour long pass out time. Literally. He went AFK for 30 minutes while I was trying to find his body and kill him and it didn't come down at all. Luckily, after almost an hour and a half of searching for his passed out body, I found it hidden in some grass on the islands south of Kamyshovo. He would've been passed out until he woke up the next morning if I hadn't of shot him. He lost all of his stuff as well. After that, this facility has gone (3) days without hackers.
  2. bitches don't know about my stealth
  3. That's not what I'm saying. I don't want to turn DayZ into an extremely-gorey rip-zombies apart with chainsaws comedy like Zombieland. I just want enormous 50 caliber sniper rifles to be in more obvious areas like armories and not lying on the floor in a tent. And on the bodies of soldiers, rarely. In a ghetto like Chernarus, the military won't really care enough to put down such an enormous military budget to throw M107's, AS50s and high-end high-caliber sniper rifles on the floor. They'd keep the big guns focused on more populated areas.
  4. I didn't have one, and really didn't want to waste time getting one. He HAD one, but his stuff dissapeared.
  5. Last night, I joined iPro while he was playing on a private server. We were luring people into thinking friendlies were at Elektro. On the server, it was the middle of the night, so we threw flares everywhere. After half an hour, we lured two people into our trap already. We waited until they got in front of the schoolhouse and BAM- he shot them with his Lee Enfield. We weren't very conservative of ammo. He spent 2 clips goofing off, and a clip to kill both of them. Another 30 minutes passed, and I decided to loot the bodies with the very little cover we had. The entire plaza was lit up with 10-15 flares, and there were DOZENS of dead bodies everywhere. Almost none of them were by our hands, but I decided to finally loot them thinking it was safe. We got all of our ammo from 3 bodies on the hospital roof, which we were camping on. Once I climbed the ladder down, I was greeted by a horrible, horrible sight.. iPro saw another person, and let loose with an entire clip of Lee Enfield ammo. The horde grew bigger the more he shot. I decided if I was stealthy enough, I'd be able to loot the bodies unscathed. There were a ton of zombies at the ladder that goes all the way down in the back of the hospital, so I had to take the route to the lower section. Once I was down there, I immediately saw another player. We both peppered him. I turned my head as soon as he dropped dead to see the horde of pure, cold, hard zombie rape heading straight my way. None of them bothered to come up the ladder, instead they all stood in a bunched-up crowd at the side of it, waiting for me to dare stick a limb off of the side of the hospital. The horde was about three times the size as it was when I took those screenshots- the entire population of china was waiting for me to make a bad move. And make a bad move I did. While trying to type in chat, i didn't click /, causing me to press E and plummet into the horde. I didn't even hit the ground- there were so many zombies that I was bouncing up and down on top of the horde. The server lagged like hell a few seconds after I rolled off, and my blood instantly turned red on contact with the horde. They all in sync hit me at once, making me pass out and breaking my legs. The pass out wasen't long, and thanks to the lag, I somehow managed to get to the ladder and save myself. Oh, also, some poor bastard came around the corner of the wall around the hospital, and all of the zombies turn and broke his legs as quick as they did mine. He didn't even get a chance to run, and was engulfed in zombies. After he died, the server restarted to day time again. May he rest in pieces.
  6. I (sort of) agree. In places where I live, even at military bases, there aren't a whole ton of weapons just lying around like in the game. High-caliber rifles are usually locked up in armories and aren't touched until war time. You can't just walk into a barracks and find assault rifles lying around on the floor. Much less machine guns. What kind of homefront enforcement includes pulling out 50 calibers? Weapons, in general, should just be harder to find. An occasional handgun here and there is understandable for self defense. But an assault rifle in a fire station or a 50. caliber lying in the middle of a hangar where aircraft are stored and repaired?

    Are these good specs?

Oh, oh! But if you really don't think 6000 is much, can I please have your computer? Please? Pleaaassee? :(

"only" You're kidding me. You're seriously kidding me.
  9. So, about two weeks ago, me and iPro started playing dayZ together. After an hour of playing, we were killed by a hacker. Later that day (about four hours), we were killed. Again. On a different server. Both times, it was us being teleported TO and killed. A day after, I ran into a guy sniping with a TWS AS50, a silenced Makarov PM, a silenced SCAR in his backpack, tons of ammo for both. After killing him, I was immediately shot in the back by another player. The same problems persisted every day for the next week, with a mix of us being shot, nuked to hell, dropped from 2000m, ran over, the list goes on. Today, and yesterday, we encountered four hackers. Two today, two yesterday. Today, a bus teleported on top of us, my buddy was teleported to a flat, empty plain with no trees and shot. Yesterday, we spontaneously combusted, and a guy named Rusty spawned an AS50 TWS and, thanks to lag, shot me in the face multiple times after having a clip of STANAG rounds unloaded into his head. This is ridiculous. Edit: One more thing ; Yes, after this wonderful day of shits and giggles, I'm going to consider myself paranoid and record absolutely everything we do.

A MONTH? What server have you been on? TELL ME.

    Hackers. Hackers everywhere.

I was about to say "four" because I thought one of the encounters the other day happened yesterday. Edited.
  12. We don't go to Green Mountain. Never. Never. Never. Never. Never. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Never agai-
  13. it's funny, because me and a few friends have a little phobia of rabbits. every time we see one, there's something bad coming our way. ...O SHIT
  14. I'm going to be completely honest here; it's ridiculous to buy (two?) games for the sake of NEVER playing those games, and only playing a single mod. You could at least TRY Arma 2. There's nothing stopping you from finding an amazing server (AWG BE lite, Swamp's House) and having a hell of a lot of fun. There's also dozens, possibly hundreds of mods out there. ACE, ACRE, Project Reality, the list goes on. It's like playing a game with a hundred features, but only buying it to play with one feature. Arma 2 is absolutely amazing. You're missing out on a lot if you just play DayZ. It's fine if you try Arma 2, and don't like it, but not trying it at all despite buying it is just stupid.
  15. I agree with you, but you're just sounding like a s00pr srs bsns l33t arma 2 t4ct1c4l pl4yur at this point.
  16. It's obvious that Arma 2 is chock full of glitches. But those glitches have to be purposely done to really be noticed. The game is fun, and if you wasted 30 (20? w/ arma free) bucks on a game just to play nothing but a single mod of it, you're an idiot. Arma 2 is fun. The reason most people don't like it is because they can't stand the learning curve. But the fact that dayZ players never even touched arma 2 is just retarded.
  17. MEANWHILE, THE TRIO CONTINUES ON WITHOUT IPRO FOR AN ENTIRE EXCRUCIATING DAY! Will they survive? Tune in next time on the next sentence! While sniping at Elektro with iPro (and seitix if he hadn't of gone to bed so early), iPro and his absolutely horrid shooting managed to kill two people. After a friend who wanted to play DayZ came in, we went to pick them up, and iPro saw a bike from a mile away. He took it, found another bike, his friend disconnected early, blah blah blah, we rode off into the sunset. Our joyride through Cherno and Elektro didn't last long. We passed a firing squad full of shots worse than iPro who managed to miss absolutely every shot going full auto at us with MK48 MOD 0's. We made it to a little north of Krutoy Cap before we encountered some unarmed players. What happened next? One of them spawned an AS50 TWS (this was in the Hackers. Hackers everywhere. post I made) and we exchanged bullets in eachother's heads. I died, but only lost a ghillie suit. We took the guy's AS50 TWS and, shortly after, we accidentally made it disintegrate in the deep bowels of our enormous backpacks. We also lost a CZ 550, as well as our ability to snipe thanks to the same backpack glitch. I guess it's karma for ending those two poor guy's dayZ career. We got back on our bikes, and decided to head to Berenzino because, really, who goes there anymore? An hour of waiting for loot to spawn later, it spawned, and we got in and out in a jiffy. Since it was so close, we hit NE airfield too, but only lost a clip of ammo and both of our bikes. iPro's bike glitched out, flung into the air and exploded, leaving only a husk behind on the ground, and in search for a UAZ at black lake, my bike went speeding down a small hill and was trapped in a pit next to the lake. I tried to get it out, but it was lost in about an inch of water. So, skipping ahead about 25 minutes of walking and discussing the amazing physical properties of micspam, we hit NE airfield and got nothing. Nothing at all. Shocker. At this point, all we had was a winchester, a backpack full of food and medical supplies, a M16, an M9 and all the courage in the world. As a relief from the hellish mess we were in, Stary Sobor had a M204 M16A4, an MP5 with 10 G17 mags scattered across the camp and 3 actual mags. While leaving Stary, we also saw a downed helicopter with an SD Bizon PP-19. We took it. We eventually returned to Elektro, and continued the blood bath with 4 kills the other day, and two kills today. One of the kills today managed to reach success with the help of a miracle 200m headshot with an M16 and an M204. Oh, also, we killed the same poor bastard twice. RIP Bikes. 2012-2012 We will never forget you.
  18. Day two. AFTER A PERILOUS JOURNEY THROUGH CHERNOGORSK THE DAY BEFORE, iPRO AND NIKINOR SPAWN IN A FIRE STATION ONLY TO BE UNDER A HAIL OF MK12 FIRE. NO IDIOTS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS DOCUMENTARY. After alt+F4ing during their first hacker encounter of the day, the two found their scrawny asses onto a server with about 12 people. Nothing interesting happened. At all. We searched apartments and got a can of pepsi, and we found out that tin cans can break hospital windows. That would've come in handy earlier so we didn't waste multiple mags of M9 ammo getting in. We got up to the top of the silos, decided to log off there, join a populated server and snipe. Things went amazingly. Four murders. Two hackers. A whole lot of sweat and masculinity. Also, some poor bastard with a hatchet got to the top of our ladder, but iPro quickly made him into swiss cheese just as he got off of it. Nothing interesting other than 3 hacker encounters happened today. At all. Why am I logging this?

    Hackers. Hackers everywhere.

Today, we've encountered three hackers. All three in cherno. Shocker. First, we came under fire by a guy wielding a MK12 (he wasen't conservative of ammo at all, the dude was going full auto just spamming at the building we were in) Second, we were teleported to by a guy with a hatchet. Third, I was shot and killed through a wall by a guy with a silenced holo SCAR, which I saw and identified after looking at him through binos. Yay.

    Hackers. Hackers everywhere.

Battleye is not doing anything. It's just kicking people randomly for server-side errors and global banning. They're just making the situation worse. Then again, Rocket is just giving more and more pointless interviews. Let's hope all of this doesn't end up like Bigpoint.
  21. Episode 2 of the Marvelous Misadventures of Nikinor and Friends is coming soon. We're going to be hung by our genitals and fed to wolves.

You're right. It's beginning to get just as bad on low pop servers as high pops.

    Hackers. Hackers everywhere.

I can safely say that every (every) single server I've been on, since I frequent the few that appear to be "hacker-free", have been infested with hackers. I played on US 1808 for about a week, and didn't die once. A dozen murders. A sexy score. It seemed to be hacker free, and I set up a camp- funny thing is, as soon as I got a car and set up a camp, I was instantly teleported on top of and shot by an invincible guy in a ghillie wielding a AS50 TWS. Morale of the story: Never set up camps.
