Hello everyone .. As the topic says I can't communicate with anyone on dayz , because i can't see what people type in chat or what they say in the direct communication channel . I noticed this problem after I added someone on steam and he told me why i have been ignoring him in dayz . According to him , he been typing and speaking to me but i literally did not see him type or say anything . I have 160 hours of gameplay and i still haven't heard nor seen a player speaking , please note that when i type in chat i could see what i have typed , but not what others typed . I could really use some help or advice because as everyone knows communicating with others can be a game changer in dayz .

what about not being able to see what people typed in direct chat ? you think if i plugged in a mic would fix it ?

I have checked everything , this maybe worth noting that my headset has no mic attached to it . Is this what might be causing the issue ?
