How could we know that you aren't "your brother" that does enjoy hacking servers? We've had other people threaten our server(s) of purchasing new GUIDs to return and further harass our players so what else should be done instead of banning the IP entirely? From our perspective, you could easily be yet another hacker that had their GUID legitimately banned but has bought a new one to return to our server and play nice, for the time being at least. Because "your brother" was legitimately banned due to hacking who shares the same IP address with you but uses a different GUID and we see the same IP on our server which immediately suggests that the hacker has returned so we ban the new GUID, it's admin abuse? It sounds a lot like the whole, "My identical twin brother/sister was the one that did this but I, I certainly wasn't the person that did this" excuse. Person A was mugged and tells the police that Person B was the mugger but when Person B is questioned, he claims that his identical twin brother/sister named Person C must of done it because it wasn't HIM. ...sure...

FYI: Zrambie has already be dealt with on the OCN server which was being referenced by drewbtoob86. Hopefully he returns soon but well. Anyone know why?

You would like to make a ban appeal for someone that you believe to be scripting? Thanks for the report nonetheless and I'm sure our admin Vortech will read this and check the logs. I was recently online myself and I think I remember seeing that name but didn't notice anything unusual in particular. I was roaming around with Doomlord52 and we came across a sniper near West Hill whom after Doomlord52 was killed, the sniper was killed. I forget his name while Doomlord52 might remember, he had a silenced sniper rifle that apparently took up the backpack slot. Shortly after I killed the sniper, I noticed he was kicked due to a script restriction. (I think it was #52 or something.) Overall, great night. Edit: drewbtoob86, it's appreciated that you enjoy visiting our server. Vortech tries to keep it as "clean" as possible. Join our TS3 server sometime. The server info should be displayed upon log.

Elektro's 'Great Walls of Barb Wire and Sandbags' is due to rogue actions of Strain.. >:( I think it might be some minor glitch in the server and I notice it sometimes comes back and sometimes it doesn't after restarts. IDK. Vortech might pop his head back in here and he should have the answer.

He was talking to Eatfish1 who actually posted an appeal on the OCN website instead of playing witch hunt on the dayzmod.com forums. @Eatfish1, For clarification, nekon is Vortech as it's his OCN username. Unfortunately that two responses thing is a little silly but I guess it's effective for its intended purpose but has some unwanted side effects. Vortech should have already seen your post if you haven't already received a message. rawrerz, you have been locally banned and it will remain. rawrerz, you've been told time and time again on why you have been banned and why that ban with remain but if you wish to ignore everything that is told then it's impossible to help the "unhelpable". We should have our information displayed upon spawn on both servers. US 1992 and US 1993 are OCN servers.

The OP, rawrerz hasn't replied for almost two days so he might have finally realized that our local ban will stand. I've held an AS50 TWS once but was unable to find someone to kill with it. I will admit, I love sniping and quite well at it in most shooters but no such luck with DayZ. I picked that AS50 TWS off some random person one day that has no relation to OCN. I honestly didn't know that it was an illegitimate weapon and would have never picked it up in the first place if I had known. I dislike all forms of unfair aspects, including aspects that were intentionally added. (Don't get me started on CoD's extremely OP 3 round burst rifles..) I won't make an excuse for what other OCNers are doing on our servers but it does NOT change the fact of the topic at hand. If someone would like to discuss THIS further, feel free to make a seperate thread. This person, rawrerz still has an inconsistent story and seems to have some personal vendetta against our community as a whole, our servers, our members or a combination of those. The evidence has been shown and reasons have been explained, I will stand behind Vortech with this ban. @rawrerz, find another server and let this rest in peace. I'm sorry it came to this but our administration was doing what's best for our server and that included locally banning you. Goodbye!

Hello. I would like to point out that this thread was brought to my attention by another member of Overclock.net. I have ZERO control or power over the game servers of OCN. A simple google search should reveal to hopefully most that OCN isn't some "clan". On a personal note, I haven't known Vortech for too long. Several months would be an accurate approximation and most if not all of OCN members that play on OCN game servers will stand behind Vortech on his bans. He has ZERO motive to place an improper or unnecessary ban. I would like to point out that in the previous thread created by rawrerz, he demanded in what seemed to be a threatening manner that we better remove this ban "or else". He has shown greater persistence on reversing this localized ban (Submitted to CBL for further examination.) and playing witch hunt against OCN and Vortech, that it is reasonable to claim rawrerz has some personal vendetta against one if not both. Vortech has displayed his evidence which I feel is far more than what should be required and I guarantee that I say this without bias. "Group of 4 took some satchels into 1992..." In this person's previous thread, he claimed to be part of a group of TWO, not four. His story and excuses lack consistency. Our use of legal and legitimately acquired AS50 TWSs isn't abusive or "illegal". We happen to have numerous players from OCN playing on our own OCN servers working together to secure a location and hopefully a town. What actual clan server open to the public would NOT attempt to do the exact same? Once again, I would like to point out that OCN is not some clan but a website filled with members that enjoy everything about computers. It's rather insulting to be dumb-ed down to such a level as being considered a "clan". rawrerz, you have been locally banned from OCN servers ONLY from Vortech's administrative actions against your GUID. There are countless different public servers that could be selected. OCN's 1992 server is within the Top 5 server list on gametrackers. With such a ranking, it's obvious to expect that we'll be a high target to attacks which requires accurate and rapid response from our server moderators. From one gamer to another, please stop playing "witch hunt" and move on to enjoy playing DayZ in a fair and legitimate manner. DISCLAIMER! The words that I have typed don't represent OCN or its administration. I am a single player that has been a member of OCN for over one year and have enjoyed every moment. I would like to point out that I might have had a little bit to drink tonight so I apologize for any and all mistakes. Again, I don't represent OCN but as one member showing his support to our server administration.

You people? Vortech is the admin, I don't have access. Based on the logs that were shown, it appears to be enough for an appropriate ban. If you don't like it, find another server. To be completely honest, you sound like those ridiculous people that file lawsuits for their own stupidity. Next server you find, I suggest you don't troll it by using satchel charges on empty buildings again. Lastly, lying isn't going to help your case. The logs for when you spawned show that you didn't have 12 satchel charges like you claim. I'm surprised that you'd try that AFTER the spawn log was posted. Have a good night!

Were you intentionally exploiting the deactivation bug in order to keep your satchel charges?

rawrerz, how could one person hold and explode 27 satchel charges in such a short period of time? (39 minutes & 19 seconds)

Can you show evidence that you acquired every single one of those satchel charges legitimately? Whichever path you would like to choose, you can dispute the ban with OCN personally IF you truly feel that you were wrongfully banned.
