I have searched high and low and have never found a can of Mountain Dew. Is it uber rare or non existent and I am just gullible? People keep telling me that it is in game but I am starting to think I was trolled.

I was hoping to see the entire map used as spawn locations. Rather than starting everyone out along the coast in the same few spawn points would it be possible to have spawns throughout the entire map? If the emphasis is supposed to be more about survival horror and less about PvP why not put spawn locations around the entire map instead of in the same small coastal region? Are we survivors of Gilligan's island? Did a shipwreck wash us all ashore? Interactions with other people happen far too frequently as it is and making them rarer would maybe encourage people to team up more (then again maybe nothing can encourage teamwork). I am interested to hear yalls thoughts.

I have experienced this bug through several patches so far. After killing an animal (have experienced this with cows, boar, sheep, chickens and rabbits) and gutting the meat and then cooking it the health that is restored disappears after logging out and logging back in. Not sure if this is known or not. Thanks for your time.

I vote that we all assault the beaches and camp them ruthlessly to teach these carebears how hard core and l337 pro gamers we are and how much of noob beanface scrub bads gonna stay bad they are. Plus why delay the inevitable anyways. We are going to shoot them while they are playing some Roleplaying RP princess hello kitty island adventure. Lets just cut to the chase and introduce them to what the game is really about before they get too far into it with some false illusions.

There is a Check BACKPACK and there is a check chest harness (magazine holder). The backlpack holds like 14 items (I am randomly throwing that number out not sure). The Czeck CHEST RIG holds like 6 items.

Third person does lend a HUGE advantage to being on a rooftop. You can pick out potential targets without having to put yourself into a position to be shot at and exposed to fire. Then when they have their back to you pop up out of cover and drop them. It is also easy to peer over and around walls. I got to admit the game is far more difficult when facing humans in first person as well as being more scary and difficult fighting zombies in first person. If this is an election then I vote for removing third person as well as crosshairs. (Although I wouldn't mind a name recognition for when you are very close to someone).

For the sake of realism and Arma Mil Sim circle jerking the Winchester 1866 is reported to have a fired a .44 Henry round. Wikipedia states that the .44 Henry is roughly the ballistic equivalent of the modern day .45 ACP bullet that you would find in the 1911 and revolver. Wikipedia also states that "The resulting effective range for military or small medium game would be well under 100 yards." with the .44 Henry round. I couldn't find information about the ammunition capacity of it but I DID find a modern replica that uses a different caliber bullet that holds 13 shells. I am not doubting the capacity of the Winchester 1866. And today I put damn near 6 of the things into a guy from a pretty good distance and he said he jumped off the roof because he had no bandages left. BUT within that 100 yard range it is pretty decent but at range it is lacking in stopping power which seems very accurate to how it would be IRL. I just wish they would take the buckshot away from it and give it to the Remington 870 giving a reason to choose the 870 over the Winchester besides the flashlight. When you compare the Remington 870's slug versus the Winchester the Winchester has a superior rifle sight and holds twice as much. Keep the buckshot for the Remington. Make the Winchester have slugs only.

PvP honestly IS more fun WAY more fun than playing the zombie survival. I started a new life and I have one zombie killed with 1 headshot and I have 2 beanfaces killed and 1 bandit killed. It was cool! I put a Winchester slug into some guys chest from about 100 yards out and it changed me to a bandit skin. Then another bean face came up to the factory from the opposite direction I waited till he was at the wall and dumped him up with buckshot. He kept saying FRIENDLY FRIENDLY in chat and I just loled I had a damn bandit skin. At the same time I started taking long range Makarov fire from someone else to the north so I got off the roof and spotted him approaching from the corner through the window and put two slugs through the glass dropping him. A damn bandit! Is there no honor among thief's? Attacked by another bandit! He kept BLEEDING and bleeding so I went up to him and shot him with a mag of Mak and yet he kept bleeding. I think he might have tried to logoffski not sure. Name is "Call of DayZty" on the NZ server. It is a blast. I will just stop messing with the zombies and stick to the PvP. EDIT Just sniped another bean face up by the southern airfield. He was running into the tower being chased by some Z's and one shot into the back dropped him. That damn CZ was so loud it awoke the whole region I was being chased by 20 guys! Good thing I had that smoke nade? I was about to toss it when the server crashed on me. That "NO MESSAGE RECIEVED FOR 1..2..3.." popped up. So 4 people killed compared to 1 zombie killed. About 60 minutes of gameplay.

Yeah the best thing I have found is to NOT play it like a zombie apocalypse survival simulator. Just play it like a FPS deathmatch and not only is it much more fun but other people end up being your content! It is cool! It is FUN to shoot random beanfaces! Plus I can get kill streaks and check to see how high my score is on the scoreboard! Those delicious tears of the people trying to play a zombie game! OM NOM NOM! They get all butthurt and nerd rage cus they are mad at how leet my skills are. PLUS my humanity magically respawns! I don't even have to do anything! Just wait a little bit tell someone FRIENDLY and I got a new backpack full of stuff! Why would you play it any other way? All these people log off on the beaches for some reason. Now I just camp the beach and wait for them to log back in on the beach and snipe them. SOOO many people keep logging back in on the beach it is crazy. They don't have much stuff on them but their tears are so delicious!

Remove the bandit models. Possibly add a wider variety of player skins at server sign-in instead.
