Fuck it lets test it out RIGHT now. Lets all join the same exact same server and respawn at the same time and time ourselves and see how many supplies we can collect. You think I am exaggerating? You think I am making it up? You think I do not enjoy PvP and want the game to be fucking HARDER and MORE DIFFICULT and in line with a survival zombie sim because It will make it EASIER ON ME? Take the mother fucking Pepsi challenge. PROVE me a liar. I dare you. I double mother fucking BEAN dare you. It is almost like I am playing a different mod than yall and I am posting on the wrong forums. Yall seriously have no problem with the amount of supplies to be found and the respawn rate of those supplies making sure they an area is almost never used up?

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. Buddy I performed an experiment and repeated it three times just to remove the possibility of error or bias. I spawned on the beach and within no less than 20 minutes I had upgraded bags with as much food water main weapon and ammo as I could carry THREE TIMES I did it on three separate servers. I wanted to see if it was me or if it was the mod. I have an interest in enhancing gameplay. Maybe I AM the only one speaking about a removal of the item respawn system. But the experiments that were performed provide data that speaks for itself. If you do not believe me try it out for yourself. Let the empirical evidence speak for itself. It is no longer an opinion, it enters the realm of observation tested with experimentation and confirmed with data. That is fact friendo.

I don't think rifles, cans of food, ammo, water and medical supplies spontaneously spawn inside buildings every 20 minutes IRL either there buckaroo. -

You are mistaking vindication for limitation of the game engine. The map is only so big, we can't have a map as large as the actual planet. Players continuously transfer servers. Errors and bugs occur on the server that necessitate resets. Spawn points are located in the same few coastal spots which would mean eventually items would be located so far from the coast that you would not spawn with enough supplies to make the travel up to the stocked locations. I stand FIRMLY by my suggestion to turn off item respawning.

Well that is where you and I differ and disagree panzer. I argue that turning off respawning loot would present a far greater survival experience that fits in better with a apocalyptic zombie scenario and would only enhance gameplay. I am interested to hear what the game developers thoughts are on this topic as they have remained mum on the suggestion threads I made discussing this and have also failed to comment on every single (probably 20-30+) posts that I have made on the subject. -

I do not think anything anyone does it going to change the mindset of a human being. You cannot force someone to play in the style that you like...... but you CAN change the atmosphere from one of a PvP infinitely respawning gun factory to that of a survival simulation where everything is precious, every can of food is a banquet, a new larger backpack upgrade is a pair of angel wings, a tent is a mansion, a compass is the guiding divine hand of the almighty, and bullets are the new money. How you exchange them is up to you if through trade or through the trigger. -
The servers get reset every day or so anyway. If it gets to the point where the entire server is cleaned out they can just reset it. The map is SO HUGE that it would take a VERY long time for this to happen. I just don't feel like I am in a zombie apocolypse or even a semi realistic survival game. Remember in 28 Weeks later when they ran out of water in the apartments? Remember in Mad Max 2 when they fought over the fuel? What if Lord Humungous could just wait for gas to respawn elsewhere? What if cans of Dinki Di just magically appeared all over. Remember in The Road when they ran out of food/water/ammo and were forced to leave and look for food elsewhere? Remember in Dawn of the Dead remake when Andy ran out of food inside the gun store? CHIPS! HERE CHIPS!

No I am being serious. Infinity respawning loot has no place in this "Realistic Survival Simulation". The magical invisible delivery man that restocks the guns/ammo/food/drink/supplies is a terrible idea. I think this would be an immensely powerful game change that would alter the entire spectrum and shift us from a Deathmatch PvP for fun game to a zombie zurvival game. -
1- Stop spawning people on the coast. Make spawns all over the entire map. Bean coast has got to end. Last night I found TEN TEN frigging dead bros and witnessed two of those murders just a trail of corpses on the beach from near the southern airfield up towards cherno. It was insane. Those bean beaches claim more lives than Dog Green Sector of Normandy. 2- I hate finding windshields myself lol. But they ARE factories so I can understand the placement of them. Industrial sector for vehicle looting. 3- We have a frenzy of people killing each other already. RESPAWNING ITEMS HAVE TO GO! Trust me! I am a super genious!

But it is the complete exact polar opposite of the scenario that you just suggested. A magical invisible delivery man comes and restocks all of the magical item respawns every so often. He drives around Chernogorsk stocking the shelves and filling up barns like the DayZ Santa Claus. Food water guns and ammo are about as scarce as trees in DayZ. You can't have a survival game based around magical continuously refilling gear spawn points.

I do not think any of us would be here posting such emotional threads if we didn't see a vast potential for an amazing video game. What audacity what daring what outragesness to even attempt to make a game like this. I think we can all agree that if we did not have high hopes for MOAR none of us would have even bothered to register on the forums. I for one welcome the new zombie overlords.

Loot needs to NOT RESPAWN AT FUCKING ALL! What is there some god damn invisible Pepsi truck driver continually restocking the fucking shelf's? Invisible pepsi truck driving around the map? Are the zombies restocking shit when we aren't looking? NO MORE MAGICAL RESPAWNS! Once a town is cleared out it is cleared out until a server restart! People will be forced to navigate away from the coast. You people SCREAM about REALISM and MILSIM but we got fucking invisible magical arms dealers cruising around throwing rifles and ammos in barns all day long. -
I hope it gets more brutal, more hardcore, more unfriendly, more relentless. Just with an actual fucking reason for it to be that way and not because of the fact that people are simply PEW PEW PEW L337 SnIpAgHwoLf gank greif LOL noob bads stay bad pro kill count omega scoreboard whoring turd festival that it is right now.
