Searched the forums and found similar problems to what I've experienced, but nothing exactly the same. I've found no answer, so I figured I'd explain my situation and hope for an answer. I logged of the server I was playing so that I could join a friend's server. I logged in and it said I died right after the load (did not bring up the YOU HAVE DIED screen though). Instead of respawning me, I stayed there on the ground where I logged in. I still had 10k blood, not bleeding, no shock, no broken bones. I could still move equipment around in my packs. I could switch weapons, but it would not do the animation since my body was stuck in the death pose. Note - I the servers were updated, I did not alt-f4, I did not log out in a vehicle or building. I was in a clearing. I was not red-linked and I even stayed in my spot for 30 seconds before the initial logout. Back to the after-death issue. So, I tried logging in a different server. I died immediately and had the same situation (no death screen or gender selection). Tried yet another server. Died immediately and spawned into debug wilderness with 4 other people seemingly stuck. This time I lost all gear (not even flashlight). Consecutive server tries do the same thing and spawn me in random places yet I still can not control my char. He is always stuck in a death pose. And no, it will not let me click the respawn or anything. Just sitting there stuck :\

I've died enough to where that doesn't bother me much (even though I mostly die to bugs). It frustrates me to no end that I cannot respawn. It's as if my character is in permanent limbo.
