They only spawn what they are. There is a limited amount of each vehicle on each server.

First, flashlights and chem lights are buggy as hell indoors. Second, sometimes the night is just way too dark to play. Fix the night and people won't need to turn up the gamma and brightness.

If you play on the public hive your data will carry over to each new public server. If you play on a private server your data stays on that server and doesn't carry over to the next server.So if you play on private servers be sure to play on the same server each time or you will have to start over each time. If you use DayZ Commander just click on the recent tab and choose a server from the list there.

It will pass eventually. The cough will drop your blood down to 6000. A little while after that the cough will go away and you can rebuild your blood. If you rebuild your blood before the cough goes away it will just keep going down and make the cough last longer. Unless of course you get some antibiotics. lol

We will need a little more info to help you better. Are you playing on the public hive or on private servers? If you are playing on private servers your toon doesn't carry over most of the time so you have to make sure to play on the same server or you will start a new toon for each server. If you are using DayZ Commander just go to your recent tab and choose one of those servers and see if it still happens. Just make sure you have actually played on that server and didn't just connect and then disconnect when you got the select gender page.

Level of Control Over Private Servers?

It's very possible. I was on a server the other night that the zombies were one hit knocking you out then eating and killing you. everyone died. lol -
If you have a limited amount of loot on a server it will absolutely get hoarded. A tent has 10 weapons slots, 50 regular slots and 5 back pack slots. Now you can also fill up the packs before you put them in a tent so you could have 30 primary weapons in one tent. On a populated server people will hoard everything so they have loot and to deny loot to other players.

Until everything is hoarded in tents or vehicles and there is nothing but trash left in the world.

If people had to buy a new key or got kicked off the game for X amount of hours after each death the game would be dead in a week. Imagine getting killed, waiting for the time limit to respawn and then getting sniped by some douche bag 5 minutes after you spawn. -
Yeah, I have had this happen before as well. As stated above, usually switching weapons will fix it.

To all those of you out there that want the real or authentic game play. I hope you never want to use a vehicle. I don't know anyone that can pick up an engine block or a main rotor, much less pack it around with them. It's a game or mod if you prefer, compromises have to be made so you can actually do things in the game, deal with it.

I was just reading a thread about changing the way things take up room in the backpacks. We know you are not going to be packing around 4 jerrycans or tires in a backpack. It's a game so compromises have to be made so you can actually do things otherwise you would not have any vehicles to play with.. It's a balance of realism and game play. People just need to use a little common sense and think that yes some of the things we can do are not realistic but otherwise there would be much less to do in the game. -

I do understand, but you seem to want to force a play style that the majority of the player base does not want. Even if all the servers went to expert settings you probably still have mostly empty servers because most people don't want to play that way. Personally I like the third person view and don't really care about the others. If they are enabled that's fine, if not, that's ok as well. Perhaps you guys can try and start an expert only thread on the forums to see if you can get enough players to support a few expert setting servers.While expert servers wouldn't be my thing I can understand that there are people that like to play that way. -
Oh I don't know. I remember finding 3 in one night at heli crash sites. 3 crash sites, one at each site.

The facts are the facts, you guys don't care enough to put in the work of getting the servers up and running so you go for the instant gratification of the full server not matter what settings they run.. You can't just seed them for a day or two, you have to keep trying. I'm sorry you can't play on the servers the way you want but if the majority of players don't want to play that way I guess you have to choose what you want the most. Full servers or expert settings. Very simple really. Also, you don't have to use 3rd person if you don't want to. If you think it gives others a slight advantage, well that means you just have to be that much better at being the expert player. -

I would say the lack of players on the expert servers has already answered the question. If all the people in this thread that are saying they would play more would play on those servers, they would be populated, but they don't, they play on regular servers and then complain about it. lol -

You don't have to farm to get good gear at AII. The only thing you need to farm an the Namalsk map is food and drink. And heat packs. lol -
Well, we have military bases, we have heli crashes. There are going to be an abundance of mid to high end military gear at these sites. I do understand that the L85 is a bit overpowered due to the thermal sight but it is an ideal weapon for players that play as survivors and are trying to avoid other players rather than hunt than down for shits and giggles.
