I notice a lot of people complain about the HDR and Bloom in this game being WAY to buggy and IN YOUR FACE! So I have found somewhat of a work around to fix it but not rid ARMA2 of this issue competely. Start by opening arma2oa.cfg. Find postfx and make sure its postfx=0; find HDRPrecision and set it to 32. After you fix those two lines save it and set the file to read-only. Launch Dayz/Arma2 and go to video options. Make sure hdr is set to normal and postfx is disabled. Load into a server and it should look and run a bit better. You can also try the fps fix which requires you to fix these two lines GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=3; set them to GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1; http://dayzmod.com/f...low-frames-fix/
I put the files on GameFront use that if you want a decent speed. If I shouldnt be doing this then someone let me know. http://www.gamefront.com/files/21866955/DayZ-1.7.1.2.rar
