humm i think you can, however BI doesn't recommends it because each version install in different paths an you can have problems with missing files and stuff like that. Either way you can play Dayz with the free steam version of the game, and a new copy of OA you'll have low res graphics tho. -

I think the only thing that made bandit skins go out, is that rocket wanted variety within the players skins. So i'd guess it would be hard to force an skin to bandits when they can get another set of clothes as loot. -

No reason to have it, and yea it does gives alot of info. I really don't care tho i usually laugh when a guy braging about his Mega Sniper gets killed a few minutes after he says his position in side channel.

yes but usually thiefs aren't coded in the Real Virtuality 3 engine. With this being usually the facial expression of someone who is "good" aren't the same of someone who has been killing people with his hunting rifle. The way the games usually represent this is changing their clothes, or just putting red eyes to em. Its just easier than coding something that will simulate everything some of you have been trying to say with comments about hostages situations. Now i just feel its pointless that we still try to base this project in real life situations. We should give ideas on how to make it work in a military simulator mod about a zombie apocalypse. because if you want realism might as well just put 1 life per computer, and remove every item respawn in the map because last time i checked weapons didn't just popped out of the air inside schools. Maybe then people will play it as if it was their life. -
More Clothing and a way to differentiate Bandits

Care to explain why, everyone is saying "DON'T PUT IT" but at least put the reason so we can understand. Not against adding/removing the bandit skin just want some solid info instead of " I h8 BANDET OUTFIT ITS BATSHITZ" -
Rearm just takes every Item of the same type that you have in your inventory' date=' doesn't necessarily have to be ammo you can re-arm with empty cans too. Yep altho i think it gives you the ammo for both primary and secondary weapons. Also what the OP is trying to say is that he wants to be able to merge his ammo mags so he doesn't have some with 1-2 bullets taking up space in his inventory.

I don't know if the arma 2 engine is able to support this but An actual electric grid would be great you know one being powered by fuel generators that could be repaired or created, giving you the option to get some light at least in a certain range. Or give the powerplants in the towns/cities a use. Maybe not light the whole town but parts of it depending on how much fuel you have.
