I would love something to prevent my car from being taken while I'm offline! Maybe, though, cars can run without a key (Like hotwiring as everyone keeps suggesting) but if you happen to find a key, and proceed to use it on your car, then from that point the car will need your key to start it's engine. And maybe another new item, or combination option can allow you to make duplicates. For your buddies or something.
