I started this thread to hear peoples ideas or story's on how the dayz infection started. so please if you have something even just a few sentence's post it! Here is my idea of how the infection might have started. Top secret, Eye's only.... /////... LOCATION: Green mountain, Communications and Research facility. SUBJECT: (4) STATUS: Infected. DATE: January,18, 2012 MESSAGE//:January 20th Subject (4) is to be secured and prepared for transport from green mountain to a more secure facility which will be unknown to anyone until the beginning of subject (4)'s departure. Use all precautions, source of infection is still unknown and subject must be contained at all costs and failing that, subject must be eliminated.... END MESSAGE//. Transport..... /////... LOCATION: Green mountain, Communications and Research facility. SUBJECT: Failed Transport. DATE: January,20, 2012 MESSAGE//: Transport of subject (4) was supposed to be today however we have failed in that task, at 0900 hours we began securing the patient the security team in charge was able to move the patient out of the building. As they where loading the patient into truck it broke it's restraints and attacked the team. Out of the eight men in the team 4 where bit in multiple places, and two of the team have severe scratch marks on their arms and face. They are now recovering in the medical unit inside green mountain. Patient had to be eliminated and disposed of.... END MESSAGE//: SOS.... /////... LOCATION: Green mountain, Communications and Research facility. ​SIT REP: Overrun DATE: January,23,2012 MESSAGE//: Green mountain facility has been overrun, all military personnel evacuate facility. In real life a as5o would take off your whole arm if you where shot there so you guys want the pistols to be more realistic but to me you want the snipers to be fake, or in other words unrealistic. i dont get it. im defending the sniper and i dont even like sniping so that has to be saying something.

Being friendly to players on dayz his how you make friends that will have your back in the game. i try to be as friendly to players i meet as i can. (unless they shoot at me, or act suspicious then ill just leave them alone or shoot back)

Help people is what i trie and do. that and try to get as many zombie kills as possible!

if you have teamspeak go to the tmw ts server ts.dayzmedics.com in there you will find medics, trainers ETC. look for people with a green question near their name that means they are instructors. that or pm me and i can help you out.

if you need any extra weapons to give away i got some at my camp i never use.

that would be sick, fix em up like a car! then just travel the tracks, dont even need to steer.

for starting weapons i would have too say winchester, because it does decent damage you can shoot at a decent speed and ammo is not rare for it, then the maky because ammo is so common all you have to do is get a zed in the head and he will be down for sure, and its quite. for higher grade weapons i would have to say mk 48 mod because it is a beast of a gun for any situation, and then a silenced m9 because it can save you from zed hordes while you have your mk on your back.

one more thing. if they shoot you and hit but you end up killing them you dont lose humanity.

i usually play neutral ill shoot if shot at, and i help if someone needs it. and of course i have a shoot on sight policy for bandits!
