Yea, so until everything that's bare minimum is finished and ready for mass testing there isn't any reason to even try testing. Now imagine that this happened for each major component of the game, weapons, clothing, vehicles ( thankfully they are leaving these out till they are completely reworked). Each and every time there would be a major outcry from every person that doesn't understand the development process. -

Yea, and that's why it's not released yet. As Rocket has said time and time again they aren't going to release the Alpha till it has a bare minimum level of functionality. There is no point in releasing it in pre-alpha if the core functions are still unstable or needing to be replaced/changed in the first place. It's like asking someone to review a piece of writing when you haven't finished the rough draft yet, no point in it. He want's the final core functionality that will be in the final game to be finished and ready for mass testing before that testing takes place. Otherwise there will be swarms of people bitching about how they can't run the game because of a certain bug and how core functions keep getting changed and they liked the original old system more. I think a perfect example of this is the weapons system. If he gave everyone access to the pre-alpha a month ago and then removed all the weapons that everyone had could you imagine how much shit would have hit the fan? -

Great job man, we've been kicking their asses up and down their own server. Also love how CNSF Noob is going to be "Dealt with" especially when other members of their clan pull this BS. I was wondering who out of them was using the G36c, when I blew up their camp yesterday that was north east I found tons of clips for it. I think noob is one of the ones we haven't taken out yet. CNSF is a joke and should be treated as such, if you want some company while you kill them hit up the FMF forums and teamspeak. -
If any of you guys want revenge FMF clan has declared open war on them and we are constantly killing their members on 850 ( and anywhere else we can find them), If you want to join in the fun feel free to stop by our forums or ts. Beyond their scripted in weapons and BS they are really really bad players. We probably have about 30 kills on them now with maybe 5 deaths on our side. I can corroborate the BS that they pull as well, they script in weapons and vehicles. Standard kit for them is the as50 TWS soldier clothing and the M4a1 m203 holo silenced ( we have stolen a large number of these weapons from them and now use them to kick their asses) We have a number of instances where they have tracked our spawn locations when we were wearing our clan tags and showed up minutes later with groups of 3-4 to scour the area for us. We also have an ex member of theirs who has been script killed by them and witnessed them using god mode and teleporting ( along with our clan itself seeing other instances of this) The easiest way to fight them is to drop in on 850 with a random name and start killing, we can give you locations of previous camps along with info on where they generally operate. Hell, their clan leader even reported our servers for kicking them for no reason when it was actually a battle eye issue and he will probably hop on here and do his whole "Fraps or it didn't happen" crap. It's funny how that works especially when you can search for CNSF on the forums and see the complaints made against them.

Apologies, proper research has been done and it shows that the players should have simply been kicked for trying to access the dedicated server interface.

They do use a lot of hacked in gear unfortunately, AS50's with thermal, soldier clothing, m4 with holo, silencer and m203 launcher. I doubt they brought it in themselves but they sure as hell duped enough of them. If any of you thinking of joining want a laugh, hop on their server (US 1489). If you are causing shit they have to bring an army down on you. By the way, finding those two camps and the ural yesterday was so tasty mmmm yum, I don't know if I can eat another bite, but I'm going to try. -
Sounds like you are having issues with your network/ram/hard drive. If large file sizes or any file size being downloaded comes up as being corrupted each and every time, I would start narrowing down the problem because something is seriously wrong.

This is the funniest shit ever, that guys is insane. I think this could add a whole new dimension to the game. Be crazy as hell and scare the shit out of people.

Seasons as well as the day night cycles (not sure if this is possible in the arma 2 engine) I would love to see chernarus coverred in snow and ice. Snowmobiles cruising around as well as tracked soviet apc's and the like. I think the winter season would step up the difficulty in game, temperature would be much more of a concern and would drop rapidly when exposed outside. People could find warmer clothing to protect themselves and maybe also winter camo outfits. To balance this I think the zombies should be slower from the cold as well as have the possibility of slipping and falling randomly. "hand" written notes that you can leave laying around or in containers/objects for people to find. Ranging from anything like "Thanks for everything in your tent" to "we already left to raid the airfield, meet you there" More random spawn events similar to helicopters, I'm thinking relief supply drops from the US or some other country that could contain food, water, medicine, survival supplies. If it were possible I think the random spawn events should happen in real time as the server is populated.. for example instead of finding a crashed helicopter you might hear a helicopter fly overhead and then watch it leave a trail of smoke down until it crashes. smaller dust trails for vehicles when driving on grass. Radios that can be tuned to a number of different channels as well as broadcast towers that have a longer range. I think the water canteens should be good for two or three drinks before needing to be refilled. I love how the game is shaping up and cant wait to see more of it.

Was on the NY14 server roughly 5:20 EST on 6/13/2012. Every person in the server was instantly teleported about a hundred feet up and then dropped to their death. The amount of people being asshats in this game really aren't helping the fact that its an alpha. Love the game and all but its like these people are intentionally trying to ruin it before it even gets off the ground.
