It's game over, start from the begining again.

When I am playing on my own, in the middle of nowhere, low on ammo, out in the open and with no cover to hide, the sound of an approaching helicopter puts the fear of god in me.

No worries mate, I'm in a similar boat to you. I recommend getting Steam. Its an app that people use to buy games with - though you don't have to buy any games off them. I'm one of the old timers that bought Arma2 when it first came out through Sprocket. However it later became available to download via Steam, and thats how most people now have it. The thing is this, with steam you can have a list of friends - type someone's Steam name into it, send an invite to that person and if they accept your invite they will be on your friend list. You will be then notified when that person is online via a little window that pops up, and you can chat to them, well text them anyway. I have Steam installed on my mobile phone and with that I can find out what server someone is playing on, where to meet up etc. Regards : Berns

Hi, you sound like just the kind of group I'm looking to join. I'm 38 (guess that makes me mature though I don't feel so). Married. I work for the NHS in a medium secure hospital unit - constantly dealing with the real threat of violence and abuse on a daily basis. I work long hours - 13 hours (get up at 6am,. Start work at 7am. Finish at 8pm. Get home for 8:30pm. Go to bed and do it again LOL). As a result I like to play hard but have a laugh at the same time. I've had enough of going solo (and getting my arse kicked). What I'm looking for I guess is a group of mates to play with and have banter with. Obviously I understand the chain of command. Although I can't commit on a daily basis due to not only working long hours but having a wife as well, I would say I am a sound lad. What do you think of having a bounty system implace for killing successful bandits? The better the Bandit the bigger the bounty.

Well what about "Wanted" posters of say the top 3 Bandits on the server you are on. These can be placed all over the map at random intervals. A bit like in the Wild West, I guess, but without the currency - you just get to keep the loot and kudos for the kill.

I'm just finding how this mod keeps changing (bits added/reverted etc) really interesting.
