The possibility of loosing days worth of progress by screwing up in a firefight makes DayZ so adrenaline pumping You don't spawn with your gear 100% there, you don't spawn 50m away from where you died If you screw up, days worth of progress might be gone in a second

You can swap them from the back to the main inventory So your AKM is in your hands DMR in the backpack You open your backpack, click on the DMR, click on the arrow to the right Your DMR should be in your hands and your AKM in your backpack, it will also swap as many rounds to your inventory as it can If you want to switch back to your AKM you do the same Open backpack, click on AKM Hit the arrow to the right AKM in hand, DMR in backpack HOWEVER, you CANNOT switch from your hands to the backpack(arrow to the left)

The 130.000 damage is irrelevant, you're dead on 12.000 anyway 2. Getting sniped from 1km means that you suck at basic movement through unknown territory - you were about to die, no matter what weapon was used against you
