    All this m249 ammo...

They Hueys don't have M249s Either they have a Minigun or a mounted M240B
  2. Hawk24

    New clothing.

Sure does hawk I got one last night. Only thing it doesnt cover is your hands and main weapon of course. Im playing with friends and by their account I'm almost invisible as long as I'm in medium high grass and not moving. That's awesome news, since I got a friend who found one and will hand it over to me once we meet up
  3. Hawk24

    New clothing.

Does the Ghillie suit conceal your backpack? Or does it stick out like a sore thumb when being prone in the grass?
  4. Artificial restrictions where you can go based on your actions in the past.... Looks like someone doesn't understand what "sandbox" means

    Minigun ambush (Video)

Lmao at the dude not getting the video For you, dear Limeni, again in slow-motion: -OP and his 2 friends scout the Stary Sobor Military Camp -1 Huey helicopter with Miniguns on both sides is inside the camp -2 survivors are inside the camp -1 of OPs friends climbs into the Huey, manning the Minigun -He waits for the 2 survivors to come back to their Huey -He shreds them to pieces Do you understand the title now?
  6. Hawk24

    What skin have you found

Does the Ghillie suit conceal your backpack? If no that'd be a pretty useless camouflage, having your ALICE backpack sticking out like a sore thumb
  7. nope.avi Welcome to the Zombie apocalypse Sandbox means no artificial limitations to your own actions, deal with it If you want PUNISHMENT, MORALE and REMORSE, build your own little police force and hunt bandits to bring them to justice
  8. The NVGs itself are already worth such a hassle You should've kept the 870 though, the Leeroy Enfield will give you way too much attention from zeds Nice move nonetheless
  9. My friend found a Ghillie suit in one of the red apartments with 2 large rooms left and right So no, they don't spawn in military buildings only
  10. Exactly what I thought, without the insults at the end
  11. Shouting the same thing over and over again doesn't make it any less crappy
  12. Oh my, one would think we are talking about BF3 with Hardcore and Normalcore elitists bashing each other This is still ArmA, 3rd person view or not is a personal preference, not a game breaking feature The only 3 server settings that I despise: -Nametags over hundreds of meters through bushes and trees -Your own position and heading highlighted on the map, rendering the GPS redundant -"Last Known Position" of other players, defeats the whole aspect of stealth, 1 look at the map and you know that you're not as alone as you thought 10 seconds ago
  13. Because this issue solely affects the Player vs Player balance Through the click of a single button I can cut my characters body size in half, making me less detectable and harder to hit That's bullshit Female characters NEVER work in a First Person Shooter style game Only random japano-F2P-FPS have female characters, and they look like dudes with makeup Why? Because you CAN'T put in proper female character models without giving them an inherent hitbox advantage over male characters Sure, you can leave the hitbox just as big, but this creates further issues 1) Players choosing to be a G.I.R.L. think they are in cover, yet they aren't 2) Other players will still only shoot parts of the body they can actually see Nobody likes to shoot thin air because he might hit the invisible male hitbox floating on top of the female character
  14. So they do have the advantage of a smaller hitbox....great...as if shootout wouldn't be flawed enough already through lagging player models, clunky animations and delayed damage.....now we've got players with half the body size too

    Using a blood bag

Have it in your inventory Look at your buddy and use the scroll wheel Select "Give transfusion" You can only give blood bags to other players to fully replenish their blood leve, you can't use it on yourself
  16. Hawk24

    Killed by bandit :´(

I first thought you would describe your intimate relationship to the cow But I see what you did there
  17. Hawk24

    Dying needs to have consequences

Of course you think dying has no consequences when you still call a Winchester+M1911 "rad stuff" Once you get your hands on a load of military grade equipment DYING WILL HURT There is no defined goal in DayZ, that's the point of the sandbox concept

Killed a guy at sw airfield

Nah, doubt it, as I had my back to the wall of the staircase and was not looking at a corpse I also emptied my AK into him before dying, so lag should've killed him too Still funny though
  19. Or something like it atleast Date/Time: 27.5. What happened: I just reconnected to the server when I first woke up at the Debug Forest My character then waved his gun around as if he would fall to the ground I then respawned on my own corpse, which had all the gear, with a completely empty inventory I was unable to interact with the corpse through my scrollwheel After reconnecting again I had my gear back in my inventory, but the corpse was still there I was able to move the items between my character and "my character", so they seemed to have been duplicated Where you were: In a shack at the North-East gas station in Cherno What you were doing: Reconnecting after having been AFK for 30 minutes *Current installed version: 1.5.8.4 *Server(s) you were on: DE2
