The ArmA franchise never had any sale problems as it was catered towards a loyal hardcore community, not the masses that may abandon the game as soon as Generic Shooter Nr 1241 hits the shelves Why do you think ArmA 3 is coming out soon? Because BI had trouble selling their games? I doubt it -
It doesn't matter if ArmA2 is the retail or steam version Both lead to you being able to start ArmA2 Combined Operations

Yes The unsigned key issue comes from ArmA2 not being on the latest version, which would be 1.11 if I recall correctly

Did you update both ArmA2 and ArmA2:OA to the latest version or only OA? I had the same issue with the unsigned addon keys when I realized that OA was on the latest version but ArmA2 wasn't

Everyone seems to forget the chance of coming in between 2 respawn "cycles" of the server clean up routine Someone has looted the barracks already, he might even have found some glorious NVGs, and you're just in time to not let the loot despawn and respawn but to take what he left behind because of lack of interest/inventory space That's also a big fat minus to the 0.11% chance

So far I've only had 2 NVGs and 1 GPS, all of them from player corpses Not a single trip to the NWAF yielded one of these items, and I did so many I've lost count Deerstands? Are you sure?= The loot sheet lists them as basic military structures, which aren't supposed to spawn NVGs at all

You can't die while offline, the worst that can happen is that your character will have red blinking thirst and hunger when logging in again after a while As soon as you log on, eat something, drink something

The sanity system in Amnesia barely works in the confined enviroment of Amnesia itself It's a mechanic that forces you to get to a light source as quickly as possible, and "disturbing events" are either scripted or when you look at your hunter for too long Also it directs the hunter into your direction when getting close to insane Once you got the hang of sanity in Amnesia it's barely an issue.... DayZ is an open world game, putting a sanity system in it would work cheesy at best, but would more likely just fail and be another artificial annoyance for players that decide to kill than to co-operate with strangers Can I please get my bandit skin back? Atleast it looked badass and had some sort of camouflage compared to the baseball cap wearing tourrist that the PMC skin is -

If you use SD ammo in an unsuppressed weapon your weapon won't pull aggro from zeds since the ammo determines the sound for the AI SD ammo is noiseless for AI, no matter which weapon you fire it from Other players still hear your weapon though, and I don't know if SD ammo deals less damage because of the lack of velocity Also some unsuppressed weapons change their zero when using SD ammo, so you should fire some test rounds to make sure your weapons isn't magically zeroing in on 1km because you put in a STANAG SD mag

You want your character to be able to commit suicide while being logged off? That's exactly the same crap as dying of thirst/hunger while not being ingame Just this time it's only for the "bad people" that have "unimaginable horror" because all the people they killed to survive What your idea implies is that EVERY character has exactly the same mental stability and breaks down at exactly the same amount of people killed Or if you would set a random number of kills you would pre-determine what kind of person we are because we can only kill so many before we get psychological problems Such a great way to buttfuck banditry, just tell them they're insane through a game mechanic and suddenly it will make sense....... Yet another "I don't want to punish bandits, but lets punish bandits"-thread -
