That would be the most desperate server hopper ever You were unlucky, he probably logged out the day before and shot you because he feared loosing his stuff Deal with it No seriously....server hopping is used for Stary/NWAF looting, not simple residential buildings -

Survival sandbox doesn't translate to "no balance allowed" If zombies would see you from 1km, hear you from 1km, warped towards you at 100km/h and would kill you with one hit....would you just shrug it off and say "OH WELL IT'S A SANDBOX SURVIVAL, IT DOESN'T NEED THE WORD BALANCE"? Tweaking balance doesn't result in a casualized open world L4D, take off that tinfoil hat And where exactly is that a "new feature" that has been "added for convenience" making DayZ more "gamey"? Your point remains unclear -

That does indeed cripple your own gameplay experience by such a large amount that you are unable to further play DayZ without puking everytime you look at your inventory screen

It was fine before the hotfix The LoS was somewhat buggy at times, but it worked quite well Now we have ridiculously high audio levels when crouch walking I either crawl through the city like a snail, or I just do a full sprint through the city and break LoS somehow It's really annoying and not fun Pre-1.7.1.4 it was challenging to not get caught in the LoS of a zombie that you might have overlooked Currently it's just...frustrating....oh well....back to doing the Running Man until they fix stealth

So tell me How am I supposed to go even remotely near a building without the need to go prone for the entire length of the trip? What am I? A snail? Crouch walking gives you 4 visibility bars, wasn't really a problem with new LoS system But 4 audio bars too? What? I just aggroed zombies that were looking in the opposite direction 150m away from me In every other version, even when zombies were able to walk and see through walls, they would've just ignored me -

Same issue here So far I've spawned in the western debug forest 3 times Everytime I move out of it I'll be back as soon as I relog Really annoying -

I actually agree with the starter gear madness Before the update you could easily survive the first day or two while heading north into the woods, away from the coast city anarchy Now you are basically forced to enter one of the coast warzones, preferably by hitting Respawn as many times as it takes you to spawn close to Cherno/Elektro/Balota, just to get supplies that will take you through the day and eventually into the woods
