Not entirely, this is a survival game after all. Stuff breaking/degrading or running out of power is a very real threat in a survival situation. -
It could be as unassuming as a very short climb down a ladder, I don't think you understand the technical limitations the dev team are working against to nurture this 'open world'.

I think there has been a misunderstanding here. The idea was to 'instance' underground bases or areas to add more and somewhat hidden areas to the map for base building etc The idea was NOT to have missions to farm or Bosses to spam LFG for.

I feel that this thread is started about 50 times every 24 hours and that if you can't use a search function then you're not resourceful enough to have secured a weapon prior to DayZ

I stated that they combine elements of psychopathic and sociopathic behavior. You should read statements completely before restating the same thing. Again, I posit that DayZ is not a 'zombie apocalypse simulation' but a 'gangland simulation'. If that's what you wanted, then fine. I did not. I wanted the former and the current system does not produce that. I read it very clearly, you said 'human norms'. Which is blatantly false and very different to societal norms. You should probably check the terms you use for your argument a little better. My reply was borne from the time I've spent researching gangs/ deviant behaviour under a sociological approach, I felt your statement needed clarification. There's no need to be a smart ass. -

More side channel nonsense, all the side channel ever did was give morons the chance to ask if there was friendlies shooting in Cherno and Bandits the opportunity to stalk naive noobs who used it to chat. It also ruined immersion and was incredibly distracting. It's not coming back, time to suck it up, chief. Then add ACE and ACRE with radios. Sure thing! /me picks up the rocket phone that dials directly to Rocket's brain. -
