Who do I PM to get access to the new mission files? I tried quite a few of the Purple people. I asked my host for an updated one today and he gave me a new one...but side chat is still enabled...

Good luck enforcing that Fenrix, clans typically run servers in every game without there being too much of a problem as clans usually are the ones with the resources to pour into dedicated servers that can actually run the server. "Their are only two reasons why you, as a server owner, should ban a player on your server. Those two reasons are: Malicious talk, and racism. You may not ban a user for stealing your loot, killing you, spying on you, etc." Wild, 'only two' means 'only two'. Not "These two things and anything we didn't say you can't ban for".

If only because I know FoG like to abuse their admin powers this is a terrible thing to not stop in its tracks. My clan played on their server for three days last week, during which we saw multiple sets of drama between FoG and pubbies in which the admins continually sunk to the level of the childish troll pubbies and kicked to win arguments in side chat. When you have to disable side-chat specifically to keep your admins from calling people 'faggots', yeah, I'm looking at you Wild, you know you have the wrong people with admin powers. On a somewhat related note: DC'ing to avoid death is obviously an exploit, and obviously annoying as fuck. That being said, the claim it is the biggest hole in the game is simply false as fading is far worse. What is the point of us setting up a camp secured with barbed wire, sandbags, etc. if someone can swap servers, walk around it, and then swap back in? Same thing for firefights...swap servers...flank...swap back in. There isn't any fix for this outside of very blunt measures or server specific characters.

NY47 here as well, confirming the whole...being hit through walls thing still occurring with the latest beta patch and 1.7.1 on both the server and my client.

You running the beta patch? People that join my server w/o the beta seem to have this happen to them...not even sure how they get in considering that I thought 1.7.1 was supposed to require it...

Not sure exactly whether it was a nuke or not...my screen went from day to dark all of a sudden and then I heard a huge explosion and everyone on TS started yelling. The server client crashed about 30 seconds later. We'd noticed like 30 or 40 minutes before that a bunch of buildings in Cherno had been satchel charge'd so we suspected there were hackers about but I have no clue how to go about figuring out who it was outside of screencapping the player list...but with names that can change constantly I'm not even sure what that does for anyone.

imo...Rocket has the right to ask him to take it down, and he has the right to tell him no. It is a derivation of a derivation. Presuming it doesn't provide a workaround for people who don't buy ARMA 2, I don't see where K is in the wrong here as Day-Z isn't a commercial product atm.

YES Might as well try it out and see how it goes, I don't think everyone has a handgun with 5 mags at home...that being said...everyone does have a flashlight. Maybe consider swapping the starting handgun out with a starting flashlight?

I went from 40-50 FPS before 1.58.2 to about 10-14 fps after. System specs are Nvidia 470, AMD 1090T, 16 GB Ram, installed on an SSD. Doesn't happen on all servers, Virginia 22 (Daytime at the time) was fine, DE 2 (Nighttime at the time was fine) but on the 7 or 8 other servers I tried it was unplayable. Didn't restart or change any settings between servers, just swapped servers and some were fine others were unplayable.
