Recording makes your FPS go horrible, because its hugely CPU-consuming. Your CPU isnt all that good.

What the guy above said, also, don't listen to the "Pay a ton of attention when crossing fields" guys. In my 700 hours of playtime, I have never been taken by surprise on a field. But really, be careful in towns. Really, really careful.

Well for one, you weren't whitelisted to the server. When your name is gray, you usually have to click on a slot, in the slot list (left of the player list)

What if there is conscription in Chernarus?

Running and/or talking in direct channel should decrease the rate of snake/wild animal encounters then (they don't like noise). Otherwise, sure.
