You will not get an enjoyable FPS on either of those Macs no matter what settings you play on. Just a shot in the dark but 5-15 FPS at best. -Derick

Hey fellow Dayz players, I was wondering if someone could help me figure out what happened to me about 30 min ago on BMRF #3. My game crashed and when I came back my player was still there with all my stuff. Initially I thought maybe I had duped but then my character started moving. I'm seriously confused and a bit freaked out lol. Did AI take over my character? Is it a player? Huge glitch? Well I didn't expect to find anything except maybe the ghillie suit again. I thought my character data didn't save. So when I ran back I thought maybe the ghillie suit would still there. It sucks you guys are so skeptical, but I understand why. I'm not pulling any "shenanigans," I just want to know wtf happened.

Lol, not even brother. I stopped recording after my game froze and started back up when i was spawning back in and then cut the two clips together.

After overclocking my x4 965 cpu to 3.7 ghz I was able to put everything with exception of Anti-Aliasing(Normal,) Object Detail(Very Low,) and Shadows(Disabled), on Very High. I kept Video Memory on Default as well as keeping VSYNC and Post Processing off. Out of cities my frame rate would hold around 40-50, and some times 60+, In the larger cities I usually never dipped below 30 unless the server was highly populated or needed a restart. A friend and I were approaching Stary Sobor ready to hit the military tents searching for AKM ammo. Of course, a hacker teleports everyone to the ocean on the edge of the map, south of Elektro. We switch to a new server and start swimming. We type into every chat about our situation. After a few minutes of swimming we get separated and begin searching for each other. 10-15 minutes pass and we finally spot each other. Then, to both our amazement we see a boat. A gracious Dayz admin/hacker (we have no clue really) types in the chat "I heard another server was hacked, I'm here to clean up the mess, I'm here to help." he said. We jump in the boat and he teleports us to the shore of Cherno and then drops a supply crate and leaves. We took a few items and went about our way (dropping them before we left the server.) Its not the most remarkable story, but I felt it should be shared with others. All I have to say is thank you so much for the assist good sir.
