3 of my friends and i just merc'ed player `50 | tpy at the NW air base on Chicago 56 server He was returned to the position before we could finish looting his body. killed us all in a ghillie suit and with a silenced weapon.

I have the same problem. it seems to come and go. i've only noticed it since the newest version, but when i went back to 7.2.4 it lagged so badly it was unplayable. Since i've taken a long DayZ break, i dont know if it happened in other versions. I'd also like to know if anyone else has had this problem, and was able to stop it from happening.

Morphine? in your starting gear? you wouldnt grab that if you were abandoning a ship, to swim to a mainland full of zombies. Or some other lame cookie cutter justification comment. No, seriously. i agree with you. break your leg early on and you might as well kill yourself and start over. Another genius change, eh?

We can only hope that someone reads these and make according changes. I think the new patch makes the mod garbage. maybe some day i'll check back.. i came back today to try the new hot fix... sigh. anyway, ive read what most of you are saying and see plenty of valid points and concerns. I wonder if rocket played this mod as a new player if he would still enjoy it as much.. For some reason i doubt it would be as fun for him without spawning some godlike kit, or having 12+ little minions around to hand him gear.. Ive switched to Wasteland. i'm sick of rocket's anonymous rape simulator. I encourage you all to get into the ARMA community more and find other mods to play. There are plenty of other great mods out there to choose from. DayZ is not all there is.

Argh. so torn. I like so many things with the patch. mostly dealing with the undead. But i hate spawning empty handed... perhaps there should be a forum-wide poll on this? i mean, what if we just started with a Mak and 2 clips? at least i could defend myself and not feel like i just dropped the soap.

i can confirm that Nazgul's solution works. Whatever that server does, spawns you right off the West of the map, instead of 100 klicks out. Thanks Nazgul! and Thank you Canada!

I can see where you are coming from.. I've yet to get past 'loading', but when i read about all these updates, i was already worried. Can the Zeds see you if you are prone now? i hope there's a poll about if we should start with a weapon... The way i always figured the "story" in my head, is that all the survivors got dropped off to try to survive. I think it would be stupid to say that all the survivors where in Chernarus when the infection hit. If that were the case, why would new people spawn on beaches. And if survivors were getting dropped off, why wouldnt they come with some basic equipment?

Hate to beat a dead horse, but yes. still getting stuck on loading. i will probably starve to death in the next couple of hours. this is bad.

Same. Beta and new patch. Stuck at loading. Have to Alt+ctrl+del out. I can join servers with 1.7.0, but in the debug forest, where i can run around and see all the other player's skins. Sometimes it's a valley where i can only see a few players. This is bad news because i am going to starve if i cant actually log into a server.

Topics like these are silly, no one will do anything but chuckle at them. No one should be putting new skins on, until rocket decides he wants to work again and stops soaking up all the fame...
