i am fucking useless with a keyboard and mouse and will now venture to buy a wired xbox controller this comming weekend. i also only bought this shitty laptop to play dayz. and i do still sit in my loungeroom (where i would play ther xbox) on my couch with my keyboard and mouse on makeshift (seperate) stands/tables and i think im doing damage to my body playing like this. if i can get away with just using the usb recharge cord? i will be good to go. this game/mod is awesome and i have barely played the xbox since starting this game (i few of my xbox mates have come over to dayz and we still use the xbox chat to communicate).

Where is the server based?

press G then select and open your bag and move said weapon to ur weapon slot (click the little right arrow next to your gun image). the bag and picking things up was a little confusing for me too at first but once u figure it out u feel stupid cause it is easy. dont overfill you're bag shit will just disapear. if the bag is full and you want to move shit out without losing it always move items out of the bag, not into it.

i call bullshit. on panthera on the long barracks buildings (the ones that have two entrances one at the long end and one on the side - this is the door u get stuck on) i got killed today by zombies cause i was stuck in the door. i only had one clip for the akm i just picked up to shoot the guy chasing me but after i shot him the zombies went nuts (there was allready a few chasing me through the door i used to enter the building. and i used the whole clip to kill the other guy except 1 bullet (if it was for real i prob used that one bullet on myself)) anyway im ducking, standing and crawling like crazy to try and pop through this door but the zombies were all over me. and inside the apartments u cant turn around. seriously wouldnt you just raise the nozzle to allow urself to turn around. not everyone is unco-ordinated.

i agree with the guy at the end and call bullshit.

i like the ideas. maybe they could have radioactive zones and to enter these areas without getting radiation poisoning and dieing you would have to find a radiation suite.

there is a single player its on the namalsk map. load arma 2 and go to the mods section and turn it on (u might have to turn other stuff off im not sure but its there), it has the blood suckers. Should probably include you need to download the namalsk dayz mod. i use dayz commander.

i had a friend who got a pc xbox controller thingy and i think he had some problems getting it to work on arma 2/dayz also. i will speak to him in the next couple of days and ask him if he got it going and let u know what he said.

choppers nead megaphones so when me and my mates are rolling in a Huey we can play the apocalypse now soundtrack and people could hear us from further away (not enough range on direct chat for this objective).

Me and a mate were sitting on a hill scoping out a town (on Panthera) down near the desert part. anyway we are seing a lot of zombie movement so we wait for like 5 mins then we see him some fella running along the beach and then he might've seen me cause he logged. we were about to finish up for the night when he logs back in i instantly raise my AKM and start spraying like crazy and my mates like what are u doing (i yell hes back) he raises hes m14 and nails him with one shot. game over.

Without knowing anything about programing and law, i do know that the aussie gov would def frown upon us shooting children even if they are zombies. But i think it would be interesting if they were added (they could be really fast or something).

Hahaha reminds of a game me and two mates had a couple of days ago in dayz+. we owned cherno with hatchets it was one of the most fun times i have had playing dayz. chasing one guy who swam out to see to avoid us (but one of us did hit him and he bled to death in the ocean) but that one led to another one on the docks and he led us to a boat load of people but they shit themselves and drove off. and so on.

I think i answered that as well when i said they have no rules.

as long as you have ammo zombies are pretty easy to deal with.

And im saying most people are armed, now if you think about it for a sec........it translates to he kills most people (or tries to anyway). and my point is he should probably be looking for players like himself in the bandit section. Thats the first post from a mod on this forum i've seen where i have said to myself dumb arse.

hmm a bandit is a player or group of players that kill pretty much every human player they see wether there is loot or not. if there is loot they will take it but if it means they might get killed they will leave it. bandits are murderers that have no rules or will never know love.

hahaha sucked in (them not OP) u should have crashed it with them in it. From the story i imagine friendly maybe to be a little kid screaming in the mic. saying shit like i fixed the chopper its mine (completely ignoring the fact they were robbing u and prob about to kill u). good story.

but it will be free. dont underestimate the power of free shit.
