Had this issue for months still no resolution.

What does it matter what he is carrying? That's like saying the game is fine as long as you don't loot.

I had it minimize to desktop once last night but I just clicked on it and it popped up again.

LAst night was the 1st time I logged in after the patch. FPS drop issue fixed. I logged in in Zellenegorsk and was a alone. Broken Yellow chain to start but it clear up within 20 seconds. I looted all of Zellengorsk and the military base south of town without running into anyone and it was a good connection zero issues(that I noticed). I ran to balota and meet up with a friend. I have a little bit of lag when we met up but I didn't see the usual disconnect freeze I usually see. We ran all the way to Electro with out seeing anyone and it ran smooth all the way. I stopped on the hills north of Electro about 400 or 500 yards out of town. and watched people running around in the city. Another one of my firends logged and an ran up to us. When he got to about 200 or 300 yards everything stopped updating. I could see him running in place in the field(I had been watching him the whole time running up to me). We are talking in TS so he is telling me where he is. He passes the landmarks I point out to him to find me but I cant see him. Finally I tell him to go into the barn that is near us. I get about 100 feet from the barn he is in and I get a broken red chain and things start moving again. I see him in the barn and we trade some stuff(he had just died so I gave him some stuff). Now everything is fine again. I have to log out and do. Now I just want to point out I was sitting on that hill for like 20 - 25 minutes watching people in town, about 5 different people. I did not have any problems or any chains that entire time. Hope it helps. Keep up the good work. EDIT: Forgot to add I was disconnected from the hive for about 2 minutes.

This is my exact problem. I have not tested this after today's patch but it has been going on for 3 weeks or so. I log in to a yellow or red chain and can't interact with anything. It goes away and i am good for a minute or two and then I get a broken yellow chain or a red chain for a couple minutes and I cant interact with anything. My inventory , doors or lot on the ground. I can still move around though. One time my friend was logged on and he could see me opening doors and closing them but they did not open or close on my screen and till I got connection again. My friend would stand frozen on one spot on my screen but he would be walking around doing stuff. Very frustrating please help.

Ok so i just tried this. I changed my computer name to match my ingame name and suddenly zero issues. I got a broken yellow chain when I first logged in but then smooth sailing. Now I only played for about 5 minutes and I didnt run into anyone so I am going to test that and get back to you. Anyone else think this fix is unbelievable cause I don't believe it and it just worked. EDIT: Just logged in with a friend and the issue is back.

This is a constant and ongoing problem I have had for the last week or so. At least before the critical fix patch and the one before it. I will desync from the hive and can run around and not interface with any thing. I still get the pop ups if I look at a door(not scrolling the mouse wheel) or to drink. If I try to right click anything in my inventory all I get is the pop up when its looking for what i can do and just stays there. After 2 or 3 minutes I will get a yellow chain or red chain(both broken) and then I can interact with my inv and the environment again. My friend was with me today and he could see me running around and doing stuff but I couldn't see him moving. I have no idea wtf is going on. Sometimes it seems if I try to open a door, it will make it reconnect faster but that could be my imagination. It used to be the Hardcore servers were not as affected by this problem but that is not the case anymore. This is a separate issue to the new lag and fps issues we got in the last patch and I am running into those as well. Please help. I want to play the game but if I go into a disconnect when in combat I am as good as dead(and have died). Win 7 64 i7 2600 3.7 ghz 16 gigs memory 2 gtx 580's in SLI with 3 gig on each card. 1 gtx 470 dedicated to physx SSD for OS and Non SSD for the game folder.

I had the same problem. I had to go to the BE site and download the file twice. The 1st Time didn't fix it. Now it is fixed

Pretty much what I did. Ditched my gear, logged out, logged back in. I was wearing my gear and it was on the floor. AWESOME! SO I tried again. Ditched my gear, ran away from it. Ran around for a couple minutes then logged out. Logged back in grabbed random gear from the town and logged out again. Still had the same horrible horrid rancid desync issues. Logged back in ran around and looted still the same issues. Ran back to my gear loaded up and gave up. Cool bug though I had dupes of every itemon my body at one point including the gear in the bags and clothes. I would also Like to add I can play almost flawlessly on the hardcore hive with this problem only happening every once in a while.

I get this problem but instead of it kicking me it just says it every couple minutes. I went to battleyes site and DL'd the latest update no help.

Well I did not try the ditching my gear and I really don't want to.

Ok so I posted before and am still having bad desync issues(as of last night). The thing is when I logged into a hard core server(and I tested it on several) the issue was incredibly reduced. Still there but barely noticeable. Went back into regular server and asstastic. I tried it on a few reg servers and gave up. I am not sure if anyone else has tried this?

Game is completely unplayable. I get it, its alpha so don't take this as a you guys suck cause the game is awesome. I am just saying I can't play anymore till this is fixed. I have tested everything you guys have suggested. Everything! and in combinations as well. Hope this gets fixed soon so I can play again. I filed out the poll but here are my specs.
