On the server I play on people got hacked and asked if the admin could do a server rollback for 20 mins ago so they all had their stuff they had before the hacker killed them, maybe thats what it was? Or maybe just one of those things. Zelot37 do you play on UK410? I just found a body in Balota with that name (or very similar Zelot with numbers at the end).

What missions are you wanting to play? The Campaigns? ArmA 2 Harvest Red or Operation Arrowhead or what? Or is it some custom missions from Armaholic? I would like to play :) EDIT: Oh this is a couple weeks old. Well if you still wanna play or have room for one more let me know.

I'd be dead and wouldn't be able to play the game right now :( It's a cool idea in theory, but considering how shitty arsed I become even just when I find decent gear, if I knew I only had one life, I'd be so scared to move I'd probs just camp in a tree :D

The minimum requires are for ArmA 2 NOT DayZ, DayZ is MUCH more CPU heavy due to the Zombies etc. That's a weak ass CPU, I'd bet if you upgraded your problem would go away. Also you'll need more than 3GB or RAM for Windows 7.

:( Well, I did think it looked slightly different to the graphics bug I was having, mine was all gray whereas your's is sort of the terrain its self. This is what mine looked like:

This is just the graphics bug isnt it? Artifacts some people call them. If so, dont worry I have 100% works every time fix :D First press: Shift and - on the numpad. Nothing will happen, but type FLUSH (you wont get a text box or anything just type it blind). Your game will then flush and screen will go black for a second. This probably wont fix it, dont worry this is normal. Now press Escape + Alt + Enter. (this bit can be fiddly sometimes you have to do it a couple of times, just keep trying till your game goes into windowed mode) You game will go into windowed mode. The escape menu will also come up, press continue. Do the same thing again, press Escape + Alt + Enter. Your game will now go back to full screen, again the escape menu will come up, press continue. Your game will now be ok with no graphics bug :) I used to get this all the time, havent had it for a while, but this fixed it 100% of the time. Sometimes just doing the flush works, but most of the time it doesnt, you need to do the rest of it.

Have you checked your launch parameters? What are you using to launch DayZ? DayZ Commander? Play with Six or what? And what exactly does it say, can you take a screenshot of the error and also your Arma 2 folder would be helpful to try and figure out the problem.

Get DayZ commander. Then once installed you will see "Install/Update" at the top, just click that and you will see which ArmA 2 beta you have, if there is a newer version (which there is) click install. Its really easy with Commander :) It looks like this (in this pic, you can see this one is up to date, but where it says 'reinstall' on this pic, you click install, same with DayZ and any of the newer maps you want to play:

Yeah some servers are Private servers and some are Public servers. Your gear will transfer across the public servers, but not the private ones. So if you join a public server and then log out and join another public server, you will have the same gear. If you then log out and join a private server your gear doesnt transfer across.

Hmm I've had this happen the odd time, very rare though, I just put it down to a bug (like the million other bugs in this game >.<). How often is it happening to you? Like I said it was very rare for me, if it's happening to you all the time then that sucks :( I haven't come across a fix for it yet :(

Get CPUID Hardware Monitor (Free) and check your temps: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html If temps are ok, then it could well be your power supply like the guy above said.

What CPU do you have? That's probably the cause of it.

Most servers are private nowadays, you sure you arent going on private servers? (just because you have your filter set to 'filter out unofficial servers' does NOT mean that all servers will be public. Obviously the filter doesnt quite work right because there are a lot of private servers that still show up when you check that option. Where are you from? If you from the UK try UK172 and then go to UK410 and see if you still have same gear as I know for a fact both of those are public and my gear carries through between both of those. So yeah if your doesnt carry through then you do have a problem, if it does carry through then it works as it should :)
