You really need to ask that question? :D haha And thats the ATVs spawn point, you'll find one there on a lot of servers. But yeah, this is just a random guess, but I'd say they've stopped being placed there because you keep finding them maybe? It doesnt make sense, i know!

Yeah it is based on stalker. Dunno if you know, but Namalsk is just the Island from the STALKER like campaign for ArmA 2. So if you love STALKER maybe you would like that mod. Chernarus for sure. Dont like Namalsk. Lingor, Panthera are decent but not my cup of tea. The desert maps....hate them, so boring. Takistan = worst dayz map ever.

No no, you keep it pressed down while you talk then release the key. OR if you want you can DOUBLE TAP caps lock to turn it on constantly then double tap it again to stop.

Make sure you are in direct chat use the < & > keys to switch then press caps lock to speak or press / and then type something. Only people within I think its 40m? or something will be able to hear/see your text. Some servers have Side Chat (Light blue text) that you are allowed to TYPE on and chat with everyone on the server. However you are NOT allowed to speak over side chat and if you keep doing it you will get banned (for good reason too). TIP: For everyone who has been shouted at for talking over voice on Side Chat. Go into options and change the caps lock key to talk over DIRECT CHAT ONLY, that way you can be in side chat and type away and chat, but when you press caps, instead of talking over side chat it will immediately change over to direct chat while you hold down the caps lock and talk, and when you release the caps lock it will automatically put you back in side chat.

If there's no auto run button, my fingers will be VERY upset! But yeah, the thing you're asking, is kinda irrelevant as you can just go into options and change it anyways. Another thing I want is an open door/gate button, that is NOT on the normal actions menu. Its soo fucking annoying when you're running from a zombie or player and you run to a gate and press the middle mouse button trying to open the thing and all of a sudden you stop and (Slooooowly) take out your pistol while being raped by said zombie or hatchet wielding player. Im sure there are a few other annoyances like this too that CANNOT be changed currently. These are the things that need looking at rather then just changing something you can already change anyway.

This isnt going to happen, BUT the stand alone, SHOULD be much better performance wise as they have made Zombies (one of the biggest reasons for laggy FPS) less resource heavy and with other improvements of stuff like you say, taking out all the unneeded arma stuff etc. it should be much more playable and the devs have said so. What do you mean by this? :S

Haven't had any troubles what soever with my buttons not working or anything. I drink tea a LOT at my desk and have spilled tea on this thing (and keyboards) so many times and its still working, so yeah, I dunno. Having said that, looking at reviews and doing your research like you are is the best way to go, so I'm sure whatever you do get you'll be happy with. i dunno if its possible for you to go to a local store just to try them in your hand as comfort makes a big difference I guess with something like a mouse. Zombies. When I first started playing i used to crawl around all over on my belly. Then I realised how easy it was to lose zombies, run in building and go prone, they will ignore you, duck into a bush they will ignore you. Though Ive just realised you will know this from Frankies vids probably. Still just incase you missed it xD

Public servers dont allow this I dont think. Only some private hives do. HOWEVER if you want camo face paint like this (This is a pic from ArmA 2 not dayz, couldnt find one, but you can have this same face in DayZ): There is also the blue and white face ofc that you can get by default: I use a camo face myself, it also camo paints your arms and hands too. You need the ACE mod installed and then go to player profile and choose the camo face of your choice. Then when you load up DayZ you'll have the same camo face. if you dont have ace mod, you wont see or be able to choose camo face. But yeah, you cant use custom face on public and only some private hives allow it (though i wish they all would tbh) EDIT: Just to be clear: You CAN use these ^^ type of camo paint faces on ALL Public and Private hives. You CANNOT add your own custom faces (skull face for example or pirate eyepatch xD) to be used on public hives or a lot of private hives either.

Well, speaking from experience playing on a shitty laptop. I had to turn every setting to lowest EXCEPT (and this setting by far makes the most difference, dont turn this one down unless you still cant play it with everything else on lowest) 3D resolution. 3D resolution should be set at 100% Oh also, I've heard that you should keep Video Memory on DEFAULT as anything else (even lowest) can have a bad impact, this is just something ive heard, never tested, but ive heard it from enough sources/people to believe it and keep mine on default.
