Hmmm, I know on Namalsk some things you can get have 'broken' versions where they dont work. Not sure if thats what it is as I dont play Namalsk now, but I saw a few when i was there. But they all had like the red circle with the line through it, you know the one.

Yes 1.7.3. Get DayZ Commander, makes things a doddle to update and see what all the servers are running etc. Just makes things much easier and more importantly quicker.

Why? Just because of the way it looks/sounds? Because 1911/revolver rounds are just as easy to get seeing as you can combine them, I always have full ammo pouch slots with 1911/revolver. Sometimes I will find a Makarov first in a city, but I've usually swapped it for 1911/revolver within 5 minutes without firing a shot. Unless you're a city avoider type that hangs out in the woods....lurking... :D

And a 5% speed boost when running. Kindness pays my friend. And so does holding someone up at gun point having a bandit friend shoot them in the legs while you bloodbag them over and over again!

Kinda agree with this, but like me I bet you use 3rd person too if the server allows it. Im not a fan of 3rd person, but I use it for obvious reasons. And when you do use 3rd person then switch to 1st person it just doesnt seem right, you seem to loose too much view. HOWEVER, if you keep playing 1st person and get USED TO IT, like on a expert server or whatever, it just becomes normal. I just wish there was more (full every night) servers like this. If Im playing a server with 3rd Im using 3rd simple, but I just wish the game you force me AND YOU to use 1st all the time, I dont have the will power to force myself!

Yeah I agree, gets dark at like 5:30 5:45is and stays that way for like 12 hours, I guess they do that because its always Autumn? I have no idea, but yeah, I do like the dark, but I also like the day and would prefer it to be a bit longer (the daylight that is) as the servers I play on Im usually on at around exactly this time <.< I seem to always log on just as its getting dark.

I dont myself, but I've seen plenty of them on DayZ Commander. If you have Commander just search rmod. Just had a quick check there is quite a few. The highest pop one right now is a DE (german) server with 20 something people on , heres the IP if you want it: 85.131.231.178:2302

Anyone on the side of adding this un-fun reality please respond to my red text. I just want to know if you would like what i said in the game? Because if not your own argument goes out of the window. Im sure some people will SAY they will want that, but do they really? Or are they just saying that for the arguments (discussion really i guess) sake. And Im not saying "Make the game better" Im just saying dont make it a chore. Rocket made the game, so if he'd wanted it like that he would have made it like that.

How are you looking? Because either you're not looking in the right place or you're blind or you're just doing it wrong :P There are plenty of full servers that have loads of people on everyday that dont have "amaturish" changes in it. Get DayZ Commander if you havent already. Filter out unofficial if you must, and sort by players. You'll notice over a number of days that quite a few servers like this have many players on them.

Please respond to this then. And could you point me to the source where Rocket says it was meant as a SIM? Just because ArmA 2 is BASED on a military sim?

You cant blow up the loot? The loot would just stay there like it does. The player would die though. This (what Im talking about) has nothing to do with cars.

It does if you can see it yeah. Sometimes you cant, they (whether by fluke or on purpose) put it in a way that the thing is blocked, by a wall or stairs or whatever, obviously this has never happened to you, so that means it doesnt happen, obviously :P

They'd be the same as satchels though in game. IRL IEDs are only as powerful as the maker wants them to be. You can make a weak ass IED. Ahhh nvm just realised what you meant. Yeah you're right. Yeah you're right about the whole server restart thing. Sucks that it has to be that way, is the net-code or whatever so bad? It must be.

Have some beans. I love revenge. If someone kills you and then you kill them in revenge, although you've both only killed each other once, YOU are the winner, FACT :D

Dont add realism at the EXPENSE of fun. If said realism is going to make the game a pain in the ass (IMO stamina will) it shouldnt be put in, just because its 'realistic'. Getting shot once in the chest with ANYTHING and dying is realistic, would you want that too? Or how about if you get shot in both legs or get a broken legs and it it takes MONTHS to heal and you can walk until they're fully healed? This is much more realistic than just bandaging/morphine (how does morphine cure a broken leg?) The "it should be added because its realistic" argument doesnt fly with me. Things should be added because they make the game better/more fun to play. And no, you dont have to make it all arcade like either, thats not what I mean, to make it fun. Fun realism = awesome. Not just realism on its own with out the fun part.

If you've changed ram and 'opened an Xbox' (what does that actually mean? What did you do when you opened it?) you can build a PC. It IS pretty much plugging stuff in and screwing some screws. There are tones of step by step tutorial videos (or text and pics if you prefer) that if you follow, you pretty much cant go wrong. Once you've done it once, you'll wonder why you didnt do it sooner. :) Plus if in the rare event you cant do something or need help, you can come on here and I and Im sure others more knowledgeable than me would be more than willing to help. Maybe over skype or whatever. Any problems could easily be sorted.

No, because if I kill someone, its pretty much always 'revenge' and its always sweet. BUT, I have killed people purely as a twitch reaction when i see them 'point' their gun at me (its so hard to tell if they're aiming or just looking) who were probably harmless, I kinda feel bad I guess, and if I just knock them out, I will try and help them. Unless they say something like 'noob' or something else like that right before they die.
