This is utterly retarded. For starters, as everyone has said, TeamSpeak and the server are two entities. You can ban from one or the other, not both. Secondly, the age rating MA15+, which means that the game can be played without parental consent at 15 or over. It does not mean you can only play the game at 15. It means that if you're 14, you need the consent and supervision of your parents to play it. I would like you to prove that his parents did not say he could play the game. Again, Having hacked weapons does not make you a hacker, and is not grounds for a ban. Refusal to remove such weapon is a bannable offense. Once again, I'd like proof that they scripted these weapons in. You pay for a server and you connect it to the hive in agreement to the DayZ staff's conditions. You do not pick who to ban for what reasons. You follow theirs.

I find it odd that a server admin would only just have registered, just to post in the thread of a random person who happens to be reported as a cheater on another server.

I believe it is if you are 12000 blood, you bleed for a total of 10000, leaving you with 2000. Of course, if you are missing 2000 blood already you will bleed out.

Find out what your timezone is, then use the internet to convert your timezone to whatever timezone the server is in. It should be in the server name, like "GMT+1"

Well, this is an interesting conundrum. The banned players are giving a story that seems unlikely to me but are providing some form of evidence. Admin gives a more likely situation yet a concerning lack of proof.

I believe that after the addition of building bases, the rest can be filled in with the players themselves and VERY easily start a community in a small area. If the ability to holster your weapon instead of lowering it, it would further add to this, as you could easily force someone to holster their weapons before coming in. If there was also a way to trade items effectively, the community could even have an economy. It's fascinating how such simple features can snowball into a huge impact. I believe that there is plenty of focus on grouping up early game (medical assistance, safety in numbers, especially when unarmed, etc) But if you're like me and not into PvP, there is no squad work to be done. There's nothing to defend, nothing to do besides scavenge.

The thing is, they are not meant to have a say in the matter, like I don't get to pick what weapons other people use in other games. Other players are the prime obstacles in this mod, and depending on how you play, they are also your prime target. Exploiting anything to detract from the experience of others is a selfish move, regardless of how much you don't want to die.

I think your other idea about reloading them into the game upon exit would work. That's what RuneScape does, if you disconnect during combat, you need to not be hit for 10 seconds before actually exiting out. P.S: I know what alot of people are like so I'm going to go ahead and say in advance I could care less for people's opinions on RuneScape. :L

Agreed, we should have some level of customization that we can change on the fly, which should appear even on a ghillie. I suppose Paying attention to what weapons your teammate is carrying and their position would be all I can suggest.

Oh, no no no, I agree that is entirely likely and think that would be a good idea, I'm referring to the blockage of ALT+F4 shortcut during game. If I was desperate, I could open up CMD, and assuming the standalone is called DayZ.exe I could write something along the lines of "Taskkill /IM DayZ.exe /F" and the moment I was about to die, ALT-tab and hit enter. Surely this would completely bypass blocking alt-F4?

How so? All you are saying is the shortcut is disabled, right? Surely the authority level of Task manager or CMD would override that of a game.

And I bet people will tryhard the standalone so badly they will alt-tab to their task manager and kill the process manually. I wouldn't put it beyond them.

Reasons: - Standalone will be coming out soon, there will be no scripters to complain about. - If they're doing it in their own threads, why complain about it? - It's just a forum.
