Apparently other players have been experiencing difficulty with vehicle repairs since the latest patch. I recommend searching around to see if someone has found a fix. I haven't played DayZ in a while so I wouldn't be able to give you a definite solution, but have you tried getting in the vehicle before repairing? -
Wouldn't they need to change the names of the cars to avoid copyright or something similar? This isn't exactly what the topic's about but it's a question not worth its own thread. Otherwise, I don't believe that adding more cars themselves is necessary, but I believe allowing us to change parts would be neat. Example, off-road tyres for when you're driving in the hills, and slicks for wet roads. P.S. I know this is entirely off topic, but I must know. Are you the same Chinook I'm thinking of?

I don't think you get it. As long as you can kill another player, there will be plenty of things to aim for or avoid in this game. The entire game is based around survival, not score. If you're that concerned about how many murders you have, as others have suggested, write them down. Also, I've never had my tents looted. You must be hiding them poorly.

Unless we know what you mean by "thing" in both cases it's going to be hard to help you. Let's go back to the start. Are you using Play withSIX to search for servers?

Firstly, I have no idea why people have started posting the same thread 3-4 times. New fad, I suppose. Secondly, A global ban is at the work of BattlEye, not the DayZ Staff. Speak to them about it. -

Nicely done. I hate it when they actually start being smart about it ("I dare you to shoot me." "Now you'll pay the price") If by "Paying the price" he means you get a free gun out of it and he gets banned, he certainly showed you who's boss. xD -
At night, it will be pitch black. Putting your gamma and brightness to max will allow you to see outlines of everything clearer.

You know, I really wish someone would create a thread about all the global bans. I think it would be really helpful if there was a thread in big capital letters, at the top of the page, as if stuck there, to explain about them. Oh.

I agree with 1 and 3. 2/4/5 are too punishing on people who do choose to go alone. We should encourage teamwork without punishing people who play how they like.

The ban was fair. However, The use of hacks in this case was jutsified. Not okay, but justified. Losing your stuff to some random scrub somewhere is bound to be annoying, so I can see why you would do that. However you must understand that it doesn't matter for what reason you did it, you did it. That in itself is grounds for a ban. -

Firstly, I do not understand why you're asking me to calm down. I made a question and an observation. It's not that important though, so meh. Secondly, when you say Task manager took 8-10 seconds, was this with killing the process, or through "End task"? Also, did you test it with taskkill in CMD? I'd check myself but I can't play ARMA at the moment. Yeah, that would be the most sensible solution if you ask me.
