Yeah, as they said, definitely switch to DayZCommander. Not only does it have a favorites and History list, but it will update everything for you, very easily.

Hello Miracool, It's entirely possible you either into a Private Hive on either of your sessions. Your character on a Private hive will not carry over to any other servers. If you want to continue with that character, go into the same server. If you play on an official server your items will port over to all other official servers, but not Private Hives. The Ear icon is how loud you are to the Zombies, not other players. And I am unaware of any way to monitor your FPS without the use of an external program, I'm afraid.

Actually, I said that because there was nothing saying that people only kill others because they can be an asshole without being blamed, and claiming that everyone who does it is an asshole/twat/whatever is wrong. Sure, you have a point in that he didn't specifically say he wanted PvP removed but he never said he wished for more diversity either, he simply said that people who play as bandits are doing it to be assholes, which is what I was commenting to disagree with, and it DOES matter because anything can sound stupid if you ignore the context in which it was said, and to ignore the fact that it was a reply to a specific statement is to take it out of context.

No, you're missing the point. Like I just said, it's not because they feel like they can play like assholes, it's just their choice to play like that, and in a survival mod, that's perfectly rational and gives the game a goddamn point. Who are you to decide why they do it? If the PvP's the aspect they enjoy, then so be it. It's part of survival to avoid people like this.

But that is the prime definition of a bandit. One who makes a living from killing others and taking their items. I probably would have shot him purely for calling me a bitch, not for the intention of taking his items, though.

I believe the mod will still be updated, however I highly doubt it will be as advanced. The Standalone will be capable of things the mod cannot, and rightfully so, considering we're paying for it. I believe it is worth waiting for the standalone.

If you killed someone with a knife and I found someone with stab wounds, I would of course blame the guy with the knife. But since I can't see the stab wounds, there's no way to make a connection between how they died. There's also the fact that if you stabbed a guy in a shed, you would have blood on you, with no visible wounds. There would be no way for us to see this in game. If you were the type of person to do this then you would have the playstyle of a bandit and thus the skin would be appropriate, as a bandit in an apocalypse would cover themselves as they couldn't be identified as easily. Shooting someone for "Looking at you funny" is not self-defense, that's malicious intent. When they add other ways to determine who's a killer, then they should remove the instant bandit skin. And irrelevant as to realism or not, making a post claiming you would eat another person's legs makes you come across as a troll.

Well, no. I think I made my point clear, that the reason you get a skin is because there's literally nothing else to go by. There's no physical marks someone would have gotten from a conflict, there's no mental deterioration, and there's no trail of evidence to follow. So to make up for it, you get a skin. Otherwise there'd be literally no reason NOT to kill someone in this game, and that encourages complete PvP behavior which isn't what the mod is going for. Also, it's hard to take your point seriously when you make a post claiming you'd shoot someone to eat their legs, "brah".

Because Morals don't exist in reality, right? Long story short, if you went around killing people in a real apocalypse, people would know, and they would kill you. Skins is the game's way of portraying this.
