Unfortunately, No. There is a demo for ARMA 2, however you will NEED to buy ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead to play DayZ. -

Tell me the difference between a duper and a hacker. They both exploit the game for an unfair advantage that ruins the experience for literally everyone involved, because no matter what their intentions are, nothing good will ever come of it. The only difference is that Duping exploits flaws in the game whilst Hackers create them.

You could've found that out by looking at my forum posts. :L Also, the Google Cache seems to randomly go from the most common search terms to what people have searched on my laptop. For example, if I go into it now and press W, I get "Websocket" and I have no idea what that is. -
Not directly. It indirectly allows you to bypass the use of direct chat, which would be indirectly giving you an advantage. An Aimbot takes direct control of your aim for you with the sole purpose of making you do better in that game, thus giving you a direct advantage. Secondly, it's an advantage that could be achieved without the use of any external programs, simply by either sitting by each other or using a mobile phone. There is NO way to emulate an aimbot with physical means, as it requires you to see through game objects and move at insane speeds with pinpoint accuracy.

I would recommend simply getting DayZCommander, located HERE. You can update everything there. That being: Your ARMA II Patch Your DayZ version All DayZ add-ons.

Nope. You pay for ARMA II: Combined operations, and the mod (DayZ) and ALL maps (Takistan, Lingor, Fallujah, Namalsk and Panthera) can be downloaded for free. You will have to pay for the new standalone game coming out, however, but that is independent of the mod, and you will be able to play that for free indefinitely.
