  1. I believe you have. I am aware that holding down ALT will let you turn your head (And thus your view) without turning your character. However, It does not allow you to look around corners or over walls safely in first person.
  2. Oh, I'm aware of this, but that's more of a realistic head turning than a 3rd person camera. Let's wait. Lulz will be had.
  3. I always play first-person. Partially because I lack a numpad to change view and the patience to change the keybind, but mainly because I don't really need 3rd person. Let them look over the grass, around the corners, through the doors. The one thing they're not gonna see is the bullet flying through their head.

    DayZ Single-Player

He does know what DayZ is, otherwise he would not be able to tell if this is already a part of the game or not. Why would he suggest a change to something if he doesn't know if that change is already implemented? And he's not asking to change DayZ, he's asking for an add-on that'll let him play privately, with simplified changeable settings. That wouldn't disrupt any other players at all so there's no reason not to suggest it.
  5. "Stop playing the game how YOU want, play it how I want!" Also, Predicting the fact you're going to get flamed doesn't make you appear smart/correct in any way, it merely means you are already aware how stupid your post is.

    DayZ Single-Player

For those who fall under the TL;DR category: He simply wants a DayZ gamemode where he can just play with his friends, allowing him to customize settings to his liking and whatnot, without interfering with his actual DayZ character, as if he was in a Private hive, if you will. I've been against this idea in the past simply because they wanted to change they DayZ experience to one of a single-player game. However, as you've said, if it doesn't interfere with anything else, there's literally no reason to not include it.

British Alliance pack, or something. Adds HD textures. EDIT: British Armed Forces. I don't see how that's relevant.
  12. I agree. I used a hack menu to kick other hackers out in World at War matches on the PS3, back in the day.
  13. Done. Prize was unique to AU residents so i put a load of fergarblegarble in for personal deets.

    Name tags

Being able to identify someone should, as sonic said, only be doable at a close range. This would help prevent friendly fire without being exploitable.
  15. I thought ALT-F4 was blocked.

    Getting that youtube monayy

I'd actually be interested in helping you with this, however with my current setup my playing ability is quite limited. I can hardly play DayZ, nevermind record it.

    Could someone explain Mildots?

Just did, I believe this is because it has no zeroing.

    Could someone explain Mildots?

I've personaly never heard about this.

    Could someone explain Mildots?

It's simple. The center of your crosshair will hit point blank at whatever range you've zeroed to. The next mildot down will hit point blank at 100 meters below whatever ranged you've zeroed to. The next mildot down will hit point blank at 200 meters below whatever range you've zeroed to. So if you're zeroed at 500m, and you shoot at a target 600m away, you aim the first mildot down at them instead of your regular crosshair.

    Need help with glitch!!

To me that sounds like a hardware issue. Try another mouse. Also, if you have a trackpad, disable it.
  21. I usually tend not to go to the forums of any game unless I'm looking for help.
  22. Your ideas were identical to what I would've suggested.
  23. Brace yourself! Butthurt posters complaining about Frankie hacking inbound!
