When i'm playing in the woods I always hear a twig snapping randomly every 5 - 30 seconds and it has become extremely annoying since now that I have noticed it I can't help but think about how annoying it is every time! (I don't accept the responsibility if this rubs off on you), instead the sound should be caused randomly when a player, zombie or animal is walking in the forest and should become even louder the harder your feet are hitting the ground!

Yep hopefully rocket fixes this so I can stop freaking out! :P For me every little detail is important and this is a serious flaw to detecting other players. Also forgot about the fence rattle and the banging door just creeps me out when i'm in a building... This game is slowly making me into a nervous wreck ha ha! I'm so cautious its unreal, although the patience has helped me to survive for weeks, if this gets fixed my heart will be more at ease :) -
I agree to some extent but don't think waypoints should show up interactively on your screen you should need to actually look at your GPS to see what direction you are going, your should also be able to put multiple checkpoints into the GPS so it becomes more useful but on the other hand make it randomly spaz out and show the wrong position on the GPS as they do in real life! I think the GPS should become extremely rare to find in game though. I certainly with Ingasmeeg though I would love to have more interaction for navigating!

Yes please!!! I never use skype, TS or any other out of game comms because it feels cheap and unrealistic almost like side chat in game!

DayZ Standalone Suggestion - Carrier on Map

I misread when you said carrier I thought you meant one lucky person will spawn infected and have the chance to spread the infection amongst survivors which I immediately thought was a good idea before realizing it wasn't what you were talking about :D -
Ok so I spawned back in for the first time in about a week as I wanted to try this new patch. I spawned in with my M9SD with 6 mags which when I looked into my gear it appeared as a makarov and my M4A3 CCO has dissapeared although I still have the five mags for it, has anything dissapeared for anyone else or is my luck just this bad?

Oh sorry to hear that! I got kicked by battleye since it apparently hasn't updated but now haven't been able to get into any game for about 30 mins, I wish I didn't update now this shit is so unreliable, you would think they would completely test it before releasing it, i'm beginning to question the ability of these devs! Seem to be making the game more unstable if anything :( But luckily my survival count is at 28 so that hasn't been reset. -

Also all the other players in game are all a group and something unexpected happens and I make an unusual and risky decision... Watch to find out! P.S. I spawned between cherno and balota, I was so cautious of zeds and players that I stayed alive for about 3 hours, I then found a castle (Zub) when I went to the top I found an Enfield but then a Bandit came up the stairs (didn't know what a bandit was) I panicked and asked if he was friendly but he killed me instantly with his CCO SD. -
Hey guys i'm looking for a tactical teammate to help me to hunt bandits, I would prefer it if you were from the UK, had a decent amount of experience on DayZ and to be 18+, I cant always play everyday because of work but I at least come on every other day, I generally work evenings and nights too so it wil l more likely be for morning or afternoon gaming. I have skype and teamspeak too so let me know if you want to help. Thanks
