UK 5555 is one of the better servers I go on, not sure why they would kick anyone just to get a car as there are hundreds of them on that server, the admin you mentioned wouldn't happen to be tazox or something like that? he seems to have let the power go to his head a little bit...

Yeah bought it on steam, had it well before DayZ was around and it's always worked fine as it does now, it's only DayZ that has the problem.

I've lost a tent in the past after placing it under a tree and tried for about an hour to retrieve it with no luck, I'm pretty sure there is no way around that bug unless someone else knows of one, just accept the loss and in future try to find a small cluster of trees and place it in between them all but not directly under the branches, unless it's a tent that you wont want to move at any point.

Definitely worth it I say, ARMA 2 is an amazing game, just like DayZ!

Is ARMA 2 patched to the latest version? not sure if that makes a difference, maybe try reinstalling ARMA 2 again then OA.

I've never bothered with custom maps, Panthera almost got me, but this map looks like it can be incredibly immersive, might have to give it a go if I can be bothered to install it.

Rule 3 is NEVER flexible, sure play with people you have met in the game, but always keep an eye on anyone you are with in case they switch to psycho. Also an addition to that rule never approach anyone you see and say "friendly" until you are sure you can take them down if they aren't friendly.

No, like I said in my other post transferring an item FROM a full backpack TO a full inventory will make the item from your backpack swap places with an item in your inventory and no items will disappear, but the other way around, from your inventory to your back pack will make items disappear, so just be careful at first and take your time until you get used to it, or until the standalone where this should be fixed :thumbsup:

Some are password protected but there are plenty that are open, type in private into the filter options and that will show only private hives then just join one that ins't password protected, just remember which server it is as your character will only be on that server, you can always try low population public servers as well, they don't usually have hackers like the high population ones.

Google "Can I run it" and go to the system requirements lab website and find ARMA 2 CO in the drop down list and it will run a scan of your machine (it's safe so don't worry) and it will tell you whether you will be able to run it or not, ARMA 2 CO is all you need but you can buy the British and PMC packs if you like which will make certain things in the game look better but you don't need to have them to actually play the game, it's fairly easy to install just use either DayZ commander or the six installer for the simplest ways, at the moment I would avoid high pop public servers because there is a good chance of a hacker being present but low pop and private hives are usually ok.

What the above have said is the safest way, but for the quickest way, when you open your backpack move an item FROM your backpack to you inventory and it will swap it with an item in your main inventory, so say you have an M4 equipped in your main inventory and you want the DMR out of your bag, open your bag and click on the DMR and click the arrow to the right to move it into your main inventory and the M4 will move to your backpack, I wouldn't recommend this in tense situations because if you move the item from your inventory into a full backpack it will be destroyed.

you mean vehicles like the UAZ? I came across one in pretty bad condition at Balota which I think is an official spawn so I assume so.

I usually play solo but I have been wanting someone to play with for a while now for a bit of a change (not too serious squad play though), I'm from UK too but I can't play until the 27th as I'm away until then, I'll add you on steam if you like.
