mine has sat for a while now, my biggest gripe is they just take up way too much inventory space. it was a pain in the ass running for nearly 10k with it in my hands before I pitched it, i've stashed nothing of great importance in it, along with a nice note asking whoever finds it not to steal it, and pen and paper for any messages folk leave. but if it goes it goes.

nvidia have now included an SLI profile for Dayz several driver builds ago you don't need to make one using the old ARMA 2 profile anymore. - just force alternative frame rendering 2 in the games profile in nvidia control panel and you're good to go.

yeah i've seen at least half a dozen over the last couple of days -
I was going to suggest a low profile tent, with far less capacity for storage and maybe take up the same kind of room as a hatchet in bag. if none of the excellent suggestions above are doable.

if you're gping to camp in a large city, half your view distance in your config file, there use to be a mod that did it dynamically - it may work with standalone i've never tried. I just stay away from large town's / citys in the mean time until it's optimised, keeps everything running smooth..

650 hours in game or so, i've died 3 times in total to other players, last time was July 12th (experimental hardcore)

read in the notes about different door materials being added to the game, so hopefully you will be able to lock up a flat in a high rise or a wee house out in the country somewhere and store your stuff safely.

they are borked at the minute the more stuff you carry multiplies the damage they do I think, or something like that, it will change eventually thoough i'm sure they're working away at them in the background -

what a wanker tbh, well done sounds like you killed a medic hopping supplies, only 2 of you on the server, open your mouth don't pull the trigger - unless you are a deranged clown in that case hope you at least had the decency to have your payday mask on. I mourn the person who died, if killing a good person gives you the "best feeling ever" get your payday mask on.

had the same thing, thought it was cause I joined a server with persistence enabled, exited and joined another server same thing, 3rd server I joined my character was back, then after a few minutes I got no message received..

you run faster with nothing in your hands, when you had 2 weapons and spawned one wasn't in your hands but both were in your inventory, now you spawn in with one in your hands, ergo you can't sprint flat out unless you drop the weapon. you don't seem to be able to retrieve crossbow bolts from trees (lost the only 2 I had testing this)
