I use the crossbow a lot and it is seriously shit, it's effective range isn't even as far as grass draws & While a one hit kill every time is a bit much to expect I think it should deal much more damage in terms of breaking bones and targets bleeding profusely & passing out / shock (imo) -
have been having to play Dayz this last wee while using AC97 motherboard sound codec and it is a truly frigging awful experience - not even hearing a gun fired less than 10m away from me, what the fuck is that all about? never mind footsteps.

as an i7 @ 4.6Ghz + 980GTX user I can tell you my frames at 2560 x 1080 are about the same 25 in citys 60 in forrests.. -
i've just upgraded my pc including an ssd and frames are still shit in city's (even streaming the entire game on a ram drive) - quite disappointing really, though it still is marginally better than it was before, but not much given how extensively I upgraded.

are they spawning on a timer or are all three spawned on restart, i've been hunting flat out for crash sites and i'm not having much luck, I must of ran at least ten marathon's this last week and have found 2 which had both been looted before I got there

nights are so bright now they are pretty much null & void, I still carry one though as RP demands it, no fecking way would I not have a torch in that situation.

that, & i'd add - the ability to add a weapon flash light is a must & being able to carry it instead of an axe on your back along with main weapon would be sweet..

the offical persistent server my tent is stashed on has vanished, happened anyone else? servers in sequence are there if I change the port in remote connect but my home server has vanished, do they return or is it a bug? anyone else notice this?
