    i'm sorry, when the advantage has been with a player to kill someone and they make a conscious decision not to pull the trigger and instead engage the other only for them to turn round and kill them, that is not PVP, that's just being a dick.. Learn to differentiate between the two. Same as someone who kills someone else who is unarmed. Now you can try and justify it as much as you like to yourself and the community, but it just doesn't wash. The majority of sane people view such people as Wankers, short and simple. Now ,maybe you like people to think you're a wanker, but me personally? nah i've a bit more self respect than that..

    me and chopper bumped into a player in the dark lastnight with NVG's so gave him driving duties of the jeep we were in, so much easier with those things on, ended up getting them sorted out with a car and a motor bike by the time we finished up and went our seperate ways, was funny when we rolled into stary and someone was busy farming the tents, being a busy bee, we think mister wightpants, became mista brown pants as he scarpered PDQ when we engaged him - in conversation obviously, not a fire fight..

    I think they have it toned down again, I think the Z's should definately investigate DC like they would a flare but from what I can tell it has no effect again in the latest beta..

    was shocked to see captain america was globably banned by BE trying to join the server last night, now maybe that wasn't the Cpt America that always plays on the server, at least I hope it wasn't, but someone else using the same name... also definately had a "strange" death way up north on Saturday night, I have my suspicions it was someone a litttle butt hurt from me killing them shortly before tbh, I won't name name's here, but sent details to mac for investigation..

    tbh, there isn't any real pain there, you were probably just a fresh spawn in Electro, wait unti you have had a character alive for more than a week where you start to build a bond with your avatar and have managed to stay alive through many adventures, and still engage with people. Specially where quite frankly the advantage was with you to kill them and you make a conscious decision not to. Help someone and they just turn round a kill you. Most people can't manage to stay alive for more than an hour, there is no rage dying with in minutes of having spawned..

    i've a similar set up with a 1tb harddrvie and found running dayz off a virtual ram drive helped particularly with scoping lag - there are plenty of guides how to do it on google..

    theres definately plenty of operations going on at night though, bound to be a few NVG's somewhere but I don't think i've run into any yet, see plenty of torches and flares and chem lights being used - I haven't seen a crash site in beards either..

    in the current build there is a killer bug @ electro docks, if you sprint along them you suddenly are thrown about 20 feet in the air and fall back down and die, I was able to reproduce it as well on a respawn.. marked it here and the direction I was running running, double time..

    yeah me too, I auto run with a macro spamming the w key and there is no way you can get south to north in ten minutes and I still loose my breath and walk up hills. something fishy going on with your m8's explination me thinks..

    i've no infected at the minute, have left and joined the server a couple of times, checked in a few busy zombie aeras and nothing. there are a few piles of loot but nothing new seems to be spawning either - and, its at least a week for me looking and I still can't find any assault rifle without iron's, not once! actually I tell a lie I had m4a1 about 10 days ago and it was nicked out of my tent. Others playing in the server are reporting infected being in their aeras..

    are you sure it empty? does it have a red line through it in your main inventory, like an empty water bottle? dunno why you're running away? just make sure the can is in your main inventory, go up to the middle of a fuel tank (not a gas one) and scroll wheel to select fill can.. simples..

    all you can say is that it's 100% certain trouble will find you sonner rather than later, in these situations sometimes the choice is yours if it ends in death or not, sometimes it ain't, but for sure that pioneer spirit is out there if you can find it. Or you can just stay locked in the spawn/die bean warz that rage out there too, the choice is yours..
