Basements [Possible solution for server-hopping]

I thought that you were going to suggest that you had to use the basements to leave the server! anyone who leaves the server any other way forfeits all their ammo - might cause some tears from people who crash, but who cares? at least it would go some way to stopping hopping military spawns!! -
Lo, has anyone managed to get sli working in the Alpha? I've tried using profiles for Arma 2 / Arma 2 AO / Take on helicopters all to no avail. has anyone else a working profile they could give me? cheers..

Glad I got it working using the OA sli profile and forcing ar2 some difference!

just turn post processing off completely it ball's up the compass for some reason in Dayz..

the biggest problem I see with Oculus Rift is how do you look at your keyboard? lift the goggles off and look down? -
I think the idea is a bit too radical, maybe something along the line of one life per server restart, granted it would have to be a server that attracted a large number of players, & at the end of the day there a plenty of other servers to join when you die. thinking private hive here by the way, dunno how it would work public..

nice 1! also sometimes when switching between seats you fall out of it completely and die, would this also be related to the anti-tp system? -

the only way I can describe it is, you get out of the chopper and you end up standing in the middle of it feet on ground, body inside the main body, if you don't react quickly after a couple of seconds your legs break and you die -

if i'd my way you would spawn in on a quick unconscious timer, cold & shivering on the border of infection with nothing, guess we can't have it all our own way? eh? by the by any chance of screen shots of the new more decayed infected?

Followed a guy with an ak who was chasing a fresh spawn into elektro church and shooting at him (and missing lol), ran up and buried him in the head with a hatchet, the abuse this intended victim gave him was hilarious! good times!!

interesting wee video of a mod on youtube of a tweak for helo crash sites. The chopper flys overhead in the sky and suffers some kind of catastrophic failure and explodes and crashes and then the zombies pile out of it.. has a few teething troubles from what I can gather, like maybe the spawned crashed helo may not be facing the right direction, or even be the same type that flew over head, & difficulty accessing loot, but I think it would make them a lot more interesting! thoughts?

yeah, couldn't agree more, dunno why it doesn't just place it in your inventory when you select pack, like it does with a satchel charge when you deactivate it..

Dunno about the grand finale in the Russian that was a bit shocking! pilot's screen locked up on him, :o there were only fly's when we eventually found your body! we were going to grab your vitals and stick them in the V36 for ya.. -
a question, is the wind always blowing easterly like the clouds? and if not how do you gauge direction?

Played here over the weekend and enjoyed the experience so far, though didn't seem to be able to find one crashed helo the whole time, then, as if by magic, through the tears of side chat we were gifted every thing we were looking for in one fell swoop. gonna hang out here for a while & see what the crack is..
