tbh SA is way easier than the mod for a new player. When I fist played it, pretty much from the moment I spawned i'd a hoard of zombies after me and was shot about a minute later with an AS50.. welcome to DayZ. It continued pretty much like this for about the first week..

Let me start by saying I have killed 3 players. 1 by accident, another I deeply regret, and the third deserved to die. I have been shown mercy on 2 seperate occasions when I could easily have been murdered. I've recently recovered from being sick again. comes from eating all food that I find no matter the condition, but i'm not back yet to full health. My blood type is o+. to do list - I need to ascertain how badly damaged my long range scope is after it took a bad beating from zombies while stashed in my back pack. If it's badly off i've another pristine 3x scope i've picked up to replace it until I can find another, or, I might just drop the rifle completely, hold onto the bipod and use 4 x acog instead until a new long scope is found & then search for another rifle. Having the ability to sprint from not carrying 2 weapons might make the search faster. I'll cross that bridge if i'm spared and finish testing the damaged scope. I haven't ate hot food in weeks so my next mission is to get something hot into me if at all possible. i'm carrying 3 season clothing and i'm thinking about stating to put a toolbox together if I find another storage box! oh & I need replecament pristine gloves as i've been wearing these ones in 2 heavily contanimated aeras so in the meantime I need to dissinfect them & my respirator!! Someone waved at me yesterday, I waved back. we went our separate ways..

I agree KOS love playing at night, even when there was thermal vision and NVG's I still played at night, I couldn't care less if others have their gamma cranked up until it looks shit, the only thing I really miss is not being able to hotkey lights on/off it's my only complaint really as it's a pain in the hole having to open the inventory and click the item..

hell no.. the painful deaths are best!! then back to being a bean eater, you should still have valuable knowledge retained to not make the same mistake next time..

there was a time when you could be killed by a sniper rifle from 1.6km away in DayZ.. the tears though in the forums was something else..

aye, it's common enough they are trying to address it in the next patch from what I can gather, just need to try a few different servers..

are you getting the adrenaline rushes yet op? wait until they start coming then you will start to get DayZ!! you only think you know pain now wait until you've kept a character alive for hours, then days, then weeks & die. Wait until you see how it feels and then you just laugh about it.. this is what makes the "game" so unique - combat logging is a no no, no matter how justified you think you are in your own mind. No happy endings in the zombie apocalypse !!

look for UK FR NL servers which start 2- they always seem to be night time m8..
